Only 1 of Stephen A takes was correct. Our offense was extremely bad for most of the year. 44 drops in a season is disgusting. Also the amount of penalties YUCK. Almost comical. No one other than Mahomes could overcome all that. Pacheco's running and Rice's coming into form were also big factors.

These talking heads did the same thing last year. They said the Chiefs were lying cause no one doubted that they would win. Well fans and podcasts kept receipts. The only one who has been positive about the Chiefs is Nick Wright.

As a Giants fan...I think we all learned a valuable lesson now. NEVER count out the Kansas City Chiefs. They overcame a LOT of difficulties this season & still captured their 2nd straight Super Bowl championship. And you have to believe that even after winning back-to-back Super Bowls, they're still not entirely satisfied given some of the issues that were propped up during the regular season. You can bet that the Chiefs are quietly scoping out the league for an upgrade at receiver. And if that happens....oh boy. Watching this was fun! Good job compiling these clips. I'll be honest, I agreed with a lot of this. I'm a Chiefs fan but hey, I'm honest about it. I think we had a sucky year. I was frustrated and pissed off most of the year. Our receivers were terrible! They couldn't catch a cold. Even Kelce was dropping some easy balls. And way too many penalties! C'mon guys! We're not the damned Raiders. Get it together! Losing to Detroit AT HOME opening day??? Yeah, I know we had some issues but that's my point! We fought issues all season long. Uncharacteristic issues. Denver beat the scrap out of us and no one seemed to care. The stupid Raiders beat us up and they were terrible! Hell no wonder no one thought we were going anywhere. We weren't up until the end and then they started playing with heart and doing all the little things right. Butker was the most consistent guy on the team! He deserves MVP. The Chiefs looked terrible on offense until they lost to the Raiders. Then they woke up and became a decent offense--not a great one like the previous few seasons. The defense played lights out and the offense started to roll after the embarrassment that was the Raiders game. So I don't blame Stephen A or Sharpe for their comments. I'm glad it fired up our team.
