Yess he is absolutely correct saying Bismillah hir rehmanirr rahim in the beginning is more than enuf bz technically speaking, when u start any wrk u say Bismillah tht means u r starting ur wrk by saying Bismillah n then ur cooking is in process u hv nt yet finished so u dnt hv to say this again n again n also when u finish ur cooking then u hv to say Al humdulillah nt again n again ... Great video! I tried cooking cholay before in a very similar way. But there are things i haven't tried which you do in this video - cook the whole garlic clove (don't chop) - put the masala in a blender after it's cooled down - add a small crushed potato. I'm going to try tonight and see if these things improve my cholay! Thanks for the recipe brother

According to me its good to say bismillah in every step Allah knows the intentions better than us And to assume something wrong that the person the person is saying to grab attention is itself is a sin we called it Tauban So instead of criticising in a wrong way i will request to all my muslim brothers and sisters to learn from this man We all should try to inculcate such good values of islam And one more thing Every time he says bismillah he gets reward(sawab) because of him as we listen to it we too get the same reward(sawab) So you must be thankful to him that because of him you are earning reward(sawab) which will be benificial for you in the world hereafter.

1.First off boil chickpeas. (keep the water for later use) 2. Put oil in the pan and add sliced onion and some garlic. 3. Fry it until the onion gets golden brown. 4. Once the onions and garlic are a nice shade of golden, add spices ( salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder). Add some ginger and green peppers/jalapeño as well. 5. Then add tomatoes. 6. Cook them until the tomatoes soften. 7. Once the tomatoes are done, take out this mixture while separating the oil for later. 8. Let this mixture sit for some time until it's cold. 9. Put the cold mixture in blender along with a boiled potato and some boiled chickpeas and blend them into a thick paste. 10. Put the oil separated earlier in a pot and add some cumin seeds and saute. 11. Add the blended paste into this oil, add some green chillies. 12. Let it cook for a minute or two. 13. Now add those boiled chickpeas. Mix them well with mixture. 14. Then add the water in which the chickpeas were boiled and cover the pot with the lid and let it cook. 15. After some time, remove the lid and the dish is ready. SIDE NOTE: If you think the chickpeas aren't boiled/soft enough I prefer cooking it in a pressure cooker rather than a pot. But you choose whatever works well for you.. And if the dish is way too runny, let it cook in the pot without the lid until it thickens a bit, because that's how it should be.
