Tang Soo Do! That was my introduction to martial arts aka it was the very first style I studied!

Any interpretation for the move at 0:43 to 0:45 and 0:57 to 0:59? Have learned this form recently and find that move strange. Your interpretation is a bit different than what I've seen from other youtube examples. These two leave the hands very far out - almost in a presentative way kzfaq.info/get/bejne/edWHhcVpzpOciac.html check 1:00 here kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ma15qbp-ysCbfXU.html chec 0:37 here This one is a bit more in between kzfaq.info/get/bejne/e9iGZrOUtK-6pp8.html check 1:19 here. Of all the moves in the form - this one has the most variation across practitioners, and is the most puzzling to me! My instructor was even a little unsure of the context of it.

Thank you for your comment and interest in this form. Currently this form is being performed by Grandmaster InKee Hong as he studied directly under Grandmaster Hwang Kee. Each school and each federation has created their own adaptations of the steps you are inquiring about. Even when I am watching the other videos you provided seem different to me and I question many steps as well. We like to describe the motion in the area's you described as a pushing motion as a practice of resistance (i.e.: using your body as a base and power and your hands are used push and resist).
