Today we look at Child adoption in Kenya, the legal framework, requirements and processes. We shall be highlighting the requirements that adult need to meet when they intend to adopt a child when the child is a relative and when he or she is not. We shall also look at which kinds of children can be adopted, what the process means for biological parents, the parental responsibilities that attach as well as the point at which the process may be halted or reversed.
