I don't know how deep your fandom of the Catcher runs, but I hope you might enjoy my Child Catcher romantic comedy fan fiction (yes, I said romantic - the Catcher gets the girl). It's deep, but it's also full of ironic and situational humor. Maybe it might give you some more material. Especially the scene in Chapter 7 where the Catcher squares off with Chitty. Of all the scenes in my story, I would love to see you argue with Chitty (the car) as the Catcher. Although, in the sequel, he squares off with Mary Poppins, which I'd also love to see.
