Disturbing in the extreme.i listened to an American mum who said her daughter developed osteoporosis at 19 due to these hormone treatments. It wont be too many years before these patients are going to sue these doctors/hospitals for these barbaric practices.

“Exploratory Therapy” instead of “Affirmative Therapy”. All you need to do is read the readdit detrans group of over 40k talking about how their trauma/dissociation/autism etc was misdiagnosed and would’ve been picked up with “Explorative Therapy” instead of affirmative. It’s sad reading all their stories of being further traumatised by professionals and doctors.

Well, I suppose on every other issue you'd call me woke, but I'm with Dr Jillian Spencer! I'm the aunty of a beautiful girl that we almost lost to this madness. She bound her breasts and took puberty blockers. I always suspected she had been sexually harassed and that triggered it. Thank God she got over it, as my sister paid for her to see a very good private psychologist, and now she is a woman studying clinical psychology herself. I get very emotional about the whole thing. I'm so glad she didn't mutilate her lovely self.

Foot binding in China back in 1911 although still goes in some places, we in the enlightened west thought the practice barbaric, but to think that medical people would allow binding of breasts in Western countries, in the 21st century beggars belief. I was under the impression that the primary mantra of medicine was do no harm. Puberty blocker term should be used only if these drugs actually stop the age right there. No physical developement, no mental development. For example if someone started puberty blocker at age 10, the person should remain till he/she taking the drug. Otherwise we should invent sone other word for these drugs
