It was a show hosted by Jeff Phillips, where children provided clues to a particular word that adults had to guess. The winner then went into a speed round and had to guess 7 words in a minute to win the prize.
Both these episodes contain my television debut at the age of 8

By chance do you have any more episodes of this show? I used to be on it as well. I also used to do the commercial for it. Would love to see it again. I still have the calculator that they gave all the kids all these years later.

Been watching the Australian IT'S A KNOCKOUT with much enjoyment. So, would I be correct in saying the announcer fir this version of CHILD'S PLAY is also Max Rawle?

It’s a knockout was a great show. Only went a couple of years. I believe it was Max Rowley too

It was also on in the US at the time with the same set and theme music

Only that in the US that it got canceled in favor of "Press Your Luck".

@@foxmccloud7055 yep. “Child’s Play” was pretty successful in several counties including Russia. It’s been revived multiple times under the name “Устами младенца”
