I have this but the bagged version. My brother found it in the trash and a little tlc and some work done to it its a good upright. Hoover Windtunnel belts and bags also fit in these vice-versa if cant find parts.

You can try to oil the motor bearings with 3in1 oil that oil works very well

Ok I'll try that first, the sad thing is about these old Bissell s is the filtration is horrible, so hopefully there won't be that much dust in the housing when I took my dad's clean view apart it was literally covered in a centimeter of dust I shit you not, just because my dad's house had old carpet and it was plus so it always held a lot of dust.

I had the Same exact one believe it or not, goodwill find for $15, sold it sadly, It had a good motor, If I had it, I will give it to you

I have the exact same vacuum (8990). I’m really sad to throw it out because of how old it is, but it won’t turn on anymore. Is there a reset somewhere im missing? I am unable to find a replacement motor.

I am sad the motor is shot but maybe you can replace it and I wonder what it looks like inside
