I haven't really seen any "hate" comments, I've seen tons of respectable opinion comments saying that this wasn't really their style but they still respect Gambino for trying something new. Personally I'm on that same boat so far but I had to give it a chance so that I can have some sort of opinion when people ask what I think of his new album.

I'm sorry for his "old fans" but after hearing this whole album, rap is sure not what he should be doing. This music is so good it's transcendent, soulful, funky with groove and a bit of Motown sound to it. I really think he has the potential to be up there with the best singers. Fuck this rap shit if you ask me!

One has to have appreciation for Creativity and Rocking out- experiencing healing and uplifting from them...both in good times and bad, to understand this album. Its not that hard, if you are paying attention to the life you live and have a since of Feeling. Regardless, it doesn't really matter who cosigns or disapproves of this album. Magic is GOING to happen everytime a Genius simply Creates-🎆.- You can't stop it from happening.
