Teach her how to roll a joint when she's 21.

Try to be more open with her and dont be to agressive to get her to stop she will rebel understand her and build trust . Therapy may help as well as coping lessons for the trauma she had.

The best thing you can do is just provide a safe space for her and her use of marijuana! You can do one of two options. Let her smoke in the house (or outside) where you know where she is and what she’s doing. Your second option is you can keep grounding her which is just going to make her rebel even more and come up with more scheming ways to hide it from you. Do you want her smoking in a safe environment or with a bunch of older boys that might try to take advantage of her at some other location? Its prob a good idea to keep in mind that although Marijuana is a drug it’s relatively harmless! Worst case scenario it can mess with the way the brain develops at an early age. There’s a reason why it’s becoming legal all over the US. Don’t be close minded, in the end it’s your choice and it’s your relationship with your daughter that’s on the line because I’ll tell you right now how you handle this is one of the things that’s going to determine how your relationship with her is going to be when she becomes an adult. Tell your husband to keep doing what he’s doing if he wants an estranged relationship. -Someone who’s been there
