Bless that cashier for showing love to that mom and son. When my son was little, he sometimes wanted things that were more expensive than I could have afforded. Fortunately it didn't happen very often, because a few times in his childhood , we had a week or so of Big Bird or some other well-known character laughing at us at the dinner table while we ate noodles. But that character knew I couldn't say no to those emploring eyes looking up to me from that sweet little face that I loved more than anything in the universe . Thank you to everyone I know and some I didn't who helped me keep my son satisfied in this world of temptations.
