+ sloopy treatz i think you didnt get the point ! The A players some of them were injured , some on vacation , but most of them had a long season ! Joachim Löw Germanys coach said month before the Confed Cup in Russia actually started , that he will not take any players from Germanys A Team ( there were exceptions , Mustafi , Kimmich , Rüdiger , Hector , Ter Steegen , Leno , Trapp etc..) to this Confed Cup ! Löw wanted to see knew young players and give them a chance to perform well at the Confed Cup in Russia , so they might have a chance to hop in the A team and maybe play at the WC 2018 in Russia ! He also wants a fighting over the positions in the German team and to let players of the A team now that they dont have a guaranted starting position for Germanys Team at the WC in Russia 2018 ! Khedira and Kroos are leaders , team captains for Germanys A team , but what if booth cant play due to any reason , Draxler is the perfect replacement Captain momentarly ! He got voted best player ! Also Germany finally have with Goretzka , Stindl and Werner real striker , not like Götze or Müller! From U21 EC champ Germany comes Mitchell Weiser , Selke and Platte also typical German striker ! So you see the fight between different positions in the German team will go on, thats a good thing ! Löw has over 40 players to choose from and form a hopeful strong German Team for Russia ! Now comes the thing , Confed Cup winners never won the WC in the following year , that applied to Brasil 3 times and also France ! How will this be with Germany than ? I just hope for them to perform a good tournemant in Russia 2018 at the WC and that they will get hopefully very far ! I dont See them winning the WC 2018 in Russia and to defend their title, would be quit amazing if they would do it ! There are other nations to watch , Brasil , Italy , Spain , Chile etc...Funny Werner got the golden shoe for best goal scorer before 2 other Germans , Stindel & Goretzka ! Lol 3 Germans in the scoring list before World class player Ronaldo , thats one thing also to remember ! Ronaldo maybe world class player with Real Madrid but not on Portugals team ! Chile was a worthy opponent in the final , better Puck next time to your team ! Russia seriously need to improve their team or they will go out in the group stages , of WC 2018 in Russia ! Mark my words ! All the Confed Cup nations in the past as host of this Confed Cup came at least into semifinal , final vor played for 3 place ( South Africa was exception !) but Russia exited after group stage, thats something to think about dear Russian Team !

Yeah they were One of the top 3 teams 2015-2016, but really went downhill after this defeat tbh. Very unfortunate and hard to watch, but hopefully they recreate strong players.

Y para tu información el equipo B de Alemania es igual de bueno que el equipo A. En el equipo A están todos los "leyends", osea los que han jugado mucho tiempo y tienen mucha experiencia, y en el equipo B están los jugadores jóvenes que son igual de buenos que los jugadores del A. Sólo los ponen en B porque son menores. Así que porque no andas a aclarar eso antes que venir y subestimar a Chile, cuando ni siquiera alguien habló de Alemania.

Chile was and still is a great team, but they got used to play dirty with no consequence. Copa America 2015 was won that way. Their elimination from the world Cup served as punishment for this kind of behaviour.

For you all that saying Germany won by a mistake of chilis defense you guys didn't watch the group stage game when Sanchez scored from Germany defenses mistake but Germany scored back. It's a pleasure seeing the way Germans players move when not keeping the ball as well as when they stay one close the other when attacking . I thought that after the 7-1 against Brazil other teams would have learnt from that lesson. It seems they didn't. I wish Italy could do the same, playing in an efficient and disciplinated way but I'm dreaming on. Germany has been worked hard over last 15 years by developing a true system from children. They show speed, perfect symmetry, a lot of technique as well as schemes learned by heart. They could easily present 2 teams in world cup and be likely to have both of them in final. I forecast dark future for my Italy and many others....

Germany won the U21 world cup and at the same time the confed cup with a "b-team" where half of the players could've started in the U21 as well. And not to forget that their "a-team" isn't all that old to begin with. The breadth of talent and especially young talent in Germanys national team is astonishing. If they play their cards right and foster these talents we could see them dominate international championships for years to come.

Alemania 7 vs Brasil 1 Semifinal Copa del mundo = todos los sudamericanos apoyando a Alemania Alemania vs Argentina Final copa del mundo = todos los Latinos apoyando a Alemania Alemania vs Mexico semifinal confederaciones, todos los Latinos apoyando a Alemania Alemania vs Chile final confederaciones, todos los Latinos apoyando a Alemania ¿Resultado? Alemania gano todo, hasta que no aprendamos a apoyarnos entre latinos, los europeos nos seguirán mirando para abajo y ni sabiendo en donde queda nuestro pais. En sudamerica (O mejor dicho todos los Latinos) nos insultamos, nos deseamos derrotas, y es así como siempre el Europeo termina ganando, o nos termina robando con un arbitraje, no se cuando será la epoca en que America se vuelva lo que realmente es, mejor que Europa, tenemos al pentacampeon, tenemos a Argentina que ha dado buenos jugadores del mundo, Chile que viene llegando a hartas finales, Colombia con jugadores como James, Ecuador, Peru con Gareca, Bolivia, Venezuela, Mexico que a pesar de que la copa de oro no es tan buena, siempre da pelea a buenos equipos. Pero nos enfocamos en insultarnos y sin darnos cuenta el Europeo se lleva todo SIEMPRE. Bien Chile, tengo pena, sobre todo por perder por un error atrás, pero espero que algun dia los Latinos nos apoyemos siempre.

Perdón, pero no tenes ni idea de lo que estas diciendo. Yo soy Argentino y quise que Chile ganara la copa. No tiene nada que ver el apoyo a favor o en contra, el partido se juega 11 contra 11 dentro de la cancha. Hay muchos latinos que están apoyando a Chile, como se que hubo muchos también que apoyaron a Argentina en la final contra Alemania en el mundial. Aparte, vos crees que los europeos se apoyan todos entre si ? Que Inglaterra, por ejemplo, va a festejar una victoria Alemana o Francesa ? No. Es decir, algunos lo harán, lo mismo que sucede aca, pero ellos son acérrimos rivales, no creas que la mayoría se van a estar dando abrazos y besos entre ellos.
