its been 5 days since switching to a MacOS Operating System while working and studying. I could say that my productivity increased while using a lightweight & super thin laptop. The feature that i really like the most is I can use this device wireless for about 8-10 hours.

Only 8-10 hours? In my experience the MBA M1 lasts longer than I do... I can use it from 8AM until like 10PM and it still has battery...

as a developer, you'll never get wrong with the specs as long as you have a text editor and good enough ram and processor to use web browser to debug and communicate.. you're all good.

I upgraded the Pro from Air because specs show that it is more powerful but for the general browsing and photoshop editing i use it for, it's not noticeable. Great choice :) I am jealous of the latest version that has the magsafe charger again though!

You can definitely use that for more than 5 years. I’ve been using my MacBook Pro for 8 years now and it’s still smooth that’s the good thing about Mac. Even though it’s very expensive, it’s a good investment in the long run because you don’t need to change or upgrade all the time.

Macbooks can last 5 years or more. Meron akong almost 6 years na siguro and it works really well parang kahapon ko lang siya binili. Everyday ko siyang ginagamit and walang problem. Never akong nagregret as in sulit

Binge watching your videos! I was tempted to go Apple this year, but what I really don't like about it is I can't adjust the memory card and other hardware stuff once I have purchased a unit already. But, Apple is really user-friendly which is one of their wow factors.

MacBook Air with the right USB C dongle would the unstoppable force. I have a MacBook Air M1 and I use it for school work & software engineering, web dev and honestly as a student it's kinda hard to drain it's battery cuz it's so power efficient and fast

2020 I bought myself a gaming laptop w/ RTX graphics then I started working as a freelance WFH. Now I don't even play games and somehow regret buying it.. currently saving for an M1 as well (or maybe wait till M2 release) gonna be a chunk of money to spend but I have to agree with you that working on the same workplace over and over is really depressing lol

I also went with the Air instead of the Pro. I like the fact that this unit doesn't have a fan and I don't like the touchbar. So far, no regrets with my decision and the battery life with this unit is amazing! It lasts for 2 days with my heavy usage. It's kind of a downgrade coming from a MacBook Pro 2017 user, but this machine is way powerful than my previous mac! FYI, Apple usually supports its Mac line ups for at least 10 years so it's really worth the price.

Hello, I have been wanting to purchase a Macbook Air M1 but my friends has a pro M1 and they told me na ‘pangit’ daw ang MBA M1. And there has been this thing that is circulating online that MBA are fragile and the screen can easily crack or break. And that is my concern. So with your experience of using MBA po, what can you say about this?

@@yeonjuniee8995 I don't think it's bad. Actually, almost the same lang sila ng Pro since they have the same chip as M1, the difference lang is, with the touchbar and better battery with the Pro. For the past months, it's working incredibly fine, and had no issues with it. Well, depends narin siguro sa pag handle mo ng unit. I take good care of my devices, kaya walang problema naman. Overall, the MBA is really a good deal, as I said, it's almost the same with the 13 inch pro except for the bells and whistles.

@@yeonjuniee8995 I've been using MBA M1 for 10 months now, and so far I haven't had any issues with it. It's about how you take care of it that'll make it lasts long. I accidentally dropped my PC onto the floor, but that didn't cause any issues like screen cracks. The crisp sound, speed, etc. are still the same. When you put a PC cover case, make sure to be gentle. I saw someone blaming a seller (the same seller from whom I bought my PC cover case). The buyer mentioned the cover made his MBA M1's screen crack, but I believe otherwise. He must have used a lot of pressure when installing the hard shell cover case, which caused the problem.
