Scottish CHILI EATING CONTEST Sunday 20th September 2015 held at Scone Palace, Perth, Scotland. Food, drink and chili festival Scotland.
Starting off with the humble Jalapeno to the Serrano we take it easy and then get a little hotter with habaneros and moving on to the Ghost Pepper do we go further? does the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion and the Carolina Reaper come out...

This competition seemed quite short due to the fact contestants were dropping off early. I think it's a bit of 'monkey see, monkey do', where when someone sees the person next to them give up, they are more likely to quit right after them. BTW this is just my theory. Maybe it would be different if every contestant were participating individually without seeing each other?

Hi +Matowix yep it was as the same as the Saturday contest, however as you see we didn't get to that level, we wher just a few rounds away from using the Reaper. :-)

Just proves people want to do it for the title and not be greedy for money, if you had a massive prize fund you will get entrants doing it for the wrong reason and can/will push themselves to much and that could be dangerous. Hope this helps explain our side of it Nadia?
