Awwwww all the memories! The Elwyn's forest theme is epic! I still play it when I can't sleep and it relaxes me so much. This game was truly a master piece!

crazy this game is already 20 years old, but I also still play it to this day .. Just casual questing while watching a documentary or sometimes levelling with a friend.. It's somehow very soothing

WOTLK was WOW at its peak… there were just so many friends to be made and so much fun to be had. Vanilla was my favorite because of the sheer awe of a game which nothing at all came close to back then. This game made some of my favorite memories! The first time taking the boat from Teldrassil to Auberdine… the first time taking the Kraken to the Borean Tundra… so wonderful. I don’t know 🤷🏻‍♀️ if it’s possible to go back even with a new expansion. I think a brand new MMORPG needs to be made and it has to be able to be played on PC, Console and mobile cross platform so you can access the world from anywhere. Better graphics and modes like battlegrounds you can only enter on console or PC, but access to the entire game just less graphical technology on mobile. Oh well I got side tracked but remember that’s what happens when you get old like all of us watching this nostalgia trip 😂

The purity of a new character. The thrill of what the character will become. Those great low leveling zones. I've just found that the higher I get the more the thrill went away for some reason. Maybe it's the whole is your gear good enough for 20 year old content. At low level you never needed to worry about such things.

At those times the small things meant something. The loot was important enough that you even click the items on the dead mob one by one to see what you've gathered. Nowadays it's clustered spam, 90% of loot you don't even care about because it means nothing anymore.

Damn I remember playing this non stop during my high school days. This brings back a lot of memories, especially the setup lol.

vanilla, tbc and wotlk are the peak of wow, oh man, so many friendship are started in this game, its seems like yesterday levelling at westfall, duskwood and etc for the first time. Level 40 seemed like so far, won gold was are worst at all. Miss these days

Blizzard got rid of WoTLK classic. I thought they were gonna save at least one realm....but no. They made the same mistake twice in a row, took a sht on classic and released cataclysm.

How dare they took WOTLK classic from us smh, Cata PvP was so unbalanced and unfair and I played at mid 2900 in 2's in the best PvP guild on the server only 2800 players allowed. I played Ele Shaman and vs Rogue/MM teams it was game over, Legendary Dagger Rogues spamming 37k Ambush even though you're in full Elites with max resil. In Wotlk I can take on rogues as Boomkin/Ele etc without a problem since I can outplay them, on Cata it's just no chance.
