@@jason2841 There are videos like that, but often the steps don't feel right, because there's no variations in them. Did a version myself, too, but it was more than footsteps alone and the audio is neither well balanced nor does it blend that well, since it's old. The best I can recommend is ironically just literal footage of the boss fight itself recorded by ''HopOnPop 1''

I also like how the in-game Humanity changes throughout the games. In the first game, it's Humanity, it looks like a soul, that gives you new life and makes you human again. In the second game, it's an effigy, it's no longer a soul, but a representation of humanity. And finally in the third game, it's nothing more than embers. Even an effigy, a representation of humanity, is now smouldering ash.

Man I remember when I played Dark Souls back in 2011. I did not have internet connection in my xbox, so I went alone thru that whole journey, what seemed impossible at some point took me to face Gwyn, Lord of Cinder. When the song kicked in I really felt the emotion, sadness, and weight of this harsh world, all of this, so you can either repeat the cycle, or simply end it all. 11 years later I still think about Dark Souls and the meaning behind this game, not because I'm obsessed with it, but because I just see the whole game as a metaphor of life itself. All the struggle we experience thru our own very unique lives, but in the end the same fate awaits for us all... we turn off the light, one... last... time.

Made one of my best friends co-op dark souls 2 with me when it first came out... we probably had over a 1000 hours among the both of us in that game, and just hearing the fire keepers theme... it really brought me back to simpler times, where all we had to worry about was homework and waking up on time for school. And it reminded me of the wonder of starting and exploring a new game with one of my best friends. If you come across this some how Elijah, love bro... you fuckin nerd.

I feel you.. I've been hearing my Cousin playing DS1 excitingly that I got into it.. just few months later DS2 has been released and we had a great time exploring the wast lands of DS2 and having fun. Whenever I hear DS2 Majulas Theme I could get in tears. I wanna be a teenager again so bad.

The series as a whole is just really special for me. Miyazaki and all the members at fromsoftware put a huge amount of time and detail into all the games, making sure every part of the soulsborne series was incredibly unique and original.

Gwyn's theme is one of my favorites, if not my favorite from Darks Souls 1, and it's also murder on my ears. I spent so long slamming my head against a brick wall after almost killing him on the first attempt. It was Six hours later when I finally won against him. It was the middle of the night and I woke my family up with my victory screech XD

I was new to dark souls. Played 3. Met friends. Found a love for a franchise. Ahh. I love the series and I’m planning on getting ds1 ds2 and sekiro. The series is so captivating that I fell in love. The biggest part was the music to me. I felt as if the music was its own fight and the more and more I heard it the more I was beating the boss. The game is a masterpiece and I’m sad knowing that dark souls has ended.

Playing Dark Souls 1, many years after it was released but before the Remake, when no one was really playing it and I couldn’t find any coop anywhere and therefore just decided to play offline for my first playthrough… really changed my life! I remember playing dark souls 3 with a friend 4 years ago, and he told me to get it, but I was like nah, and he eventually pressured me to get it and I got it, and I was so frustrated with it then came to love it and then bought all the games leading up to it, I know I’m not like a souls veteran in terms of playing the game when it first came out, but for some reason it feels nostalgic, this music, it feels like it was a part of my childhood, thank you for putting this together Praise the Sun Godspeed

I'm listening to this right now as I work from home. My work schedule is pretty relaxed (even as a project manager haha) and they only care about what I deliver and not when I work. So I work focused for three hours, then play Dark Souls and get "paid" for it. Life is good.
