Yeah, as others have said, I can think of only a few scenarios: a) ring bell camera was hacked, she got trolled or someone actually needed help or b) someone tried to break in or was living in a crawl space in the house but got stuck somehow. But if it was life threatening, this person surely would have died at some point, decomposed and smelled. Unlikely I assume. or c) some secret bunker, basement, cellar in that house or nearby, canalisation or something similar where someone got stuck or was held captive. Not sure what would be the most likely. But creepy for sure.

The fact that they never found anything makes me think it could also be paranormal.

Even as a middle aged VERY cappable man in a safe part of USA in a great neighborhood these all have saved me several times. Even living with others for a while I learned it is still needed. Numbers don't mean anything vs groups. You inevitably will not always be with others so prepare. Don't feel embarssed, intimidated or scared. That is what criminals hope people do. I've been shot at, hit by a round once, almost robbed, almost carjacked and almost held hostage. Training not guns or people is what saved me. But I carry 24/7/365.25 now, even sleeping, bathing, getting mail, going places, driving, etc. Never had to even draw a gun after 12 years of carry but am ready if I need. Also fire extinguishers are a great idea to have handy too. Don't let things slide these are evil times. Even in a home get prepared. Your whole home should be preparing.

Something kinda similar happened to me when I was jogging right before the sun went down. This car was about to make a turn but saw me coming down the sidewalk. He reversed his car, put it in park, and turned his lights off. When I came to a complete stop and made my first step back he put his car in drive and started driving like a bat out of hell towards. I screamed my lungs out and pulled my mace out before hauling ass into the nearest neighbors front porch area. I had six neighbors come out and call the police. Dude was caught by a neighbors camera getting his license plate number

Yeah that happened to me.I dressed up as a clown to scare my friend at his house since his parents would be gone since they were for vacation.And I kept ringing the doorbell and knocking on windows.Then I saw another clown across the street and he was acting sketch,hiding behind bushes and trees but getting closer.Eventually I texted my friend fast it was me at his front door and to open up and he eventually did.And the clown I never saw him again but I’m sure the sounds around the house that night was him.This was a crazy night I won’t forget for sure lol

The issue is that you do not know the true intentions of the people behind the door. Your house is like your safe space, and many of these people have family, especially kids, and they are not going to risk their lives for some strangers knocking on the door.

Amen!!!! Okay that's it, my next house I'm getting it walled high walled, with security gate! Barbed wire and security functions. increasing my firearms, And lots of German shepherds and manilov or however u spell it to patrol around I'm over it. These clips have convinced me can't trust that open yard theme anymore. Those days r gone. Lol. Crazy times. Only experienced something like this once, some stranger walked up and just knocked it was around 2 am, my husband was at work and was at home with the kids. I didn't open, I yelled for him to get off my property, he knocked again I yelled I just called police and they're on their way. And he left. The next day, the elderly woman across street asked if I knew that strange guy who was at my door last night, she said she saw him and he was acting strange and she was worried about us.

It's not the world it's the country. I feel perfectly safe as an Australian. Some parts of Italy the residents all keep keys in their doors so their neighbours can come in if they need something. Not everywhere is a hellscape like the U.S.

I’m sorry you had to go through that. I was once chased, around midnight after going home from work, by a man as soon as I exited the metro. I was so scared and was panicking because my house was a 15 minute walk away from the train station. I remember I ran back to the train station with this man right behind me chasing me. There was another man, in a bike, who saw and yelled at the man chasing me, “Hey! Are you following her!?” As soon as I got back to the train station, there was no one but one man so I quickly walked near him thinking that if this other man tried to do something to me, this man would defend me.. I was wrong. I yelled at the man chasing me “Stop following me!” This man, in shocked because I called him out, replied, “Im not following you.” From the corner of my eye I see that the other man who I thought would defend me, started slowly walking away from me trying to avoid getting involved. Thank God the man in the bike showed up and asked me if I was okay and stayed with me for a while until the man chasing me, got into the train and left. I remember I was grateful for the man in the bike but was upset because if the man chasing me would’ve done something to me, I knew I was on my own because the man waiting for the train was not going to help me.

Walking the streets at that hour of the night is always a risk. In an ideal world you wouldn’t have to fear for your safety but we do not live in an ideal world.
