Crazy to think that this playlist is almost 5 years old. I've listened to this through relationships, good times and bad, countless flights and train rides, i can honestly cry due to the sheer amount of memories and emotions that come just from the first few seconds of this. Please tell me I'm not alone in this thought. Ever since I started listening to synthwave, chillwave, dreamwave.. I feel a strange, but welcoming sense of calm. It's hard to explain. My coworkers, friends and family have said I seem more calm and relaxed. I'm not quick to anger anymore. I'm also having a hard time relating to people lately unless we talk about life, the universe, evolving... I have so much more to write and describe but I just can't put it into words. All I know is my anxiety and depression has lifted and I'm very inspired lately too. Anyone else feel like this?

For everyone, i discovered this sound way back 2018, is feels so new back then, i just got hired and my salary was tripled, got a new girlfriend I got close because of driving school that I later married and got 2 cool sons now with her, this always remind me of a fresh start after a chaotic single miserable life a have before 2018, sharing hope and new beginning to everyone.

This was my introduction to synthwave, and I'd still use it to introduce others.

I remember listening to this in 2018 when it came out. I would stay super laate at my library until closing (12am-1am ish) and just do physics and program to this music. Now its nothing but nostalgia. Thanks for getting me through my exams. Efence-Spaceflight is the one soundtrack that kept this on repeat for me.
