My daughter danced with her father at her wedding to this beautiful song. 💜 We have been so very blessed by this wonderful man, her father. We all had to practice listening to it over and over before the wedding so we wouldn’t weep from the sentiment. The practice didn’t help, there were no dry eyes. (She found a fabulous husband, who we love dearly, for how he loves our precious girl)

I grew up living with my mum in a toxic house hold and only saw my dad on weekends. I could barely hold a conversation with him. But I've seen the way he treats my stepmum and it brings tears to my eyes listening to this song knowing that my little sister will get to grow up in a house like that and know her worth ❤. I admit I'm jealous but I couldn't be happier knowing my little sis is living a life I used to dream of. I will never know this love myself but my dad loved mom this way and when he became ill from TIAs she cared for to the very last. I know cause I went to help her. He was like his dad…patient and kind and loving. Mom was “his doll” to the end….always beautiful to him.
