The authenticity! So charming. This Black Nigerian woman is not apologizing and I love her for that. "Curly, the white peoples kind of curly." Lol. People are crying broke ass tears over this issue all over social media and Bam: she nails it with laughter, the absurdity of the external thing and then not owning yourself as you are with the internalizing of anti Black racism. Beautifully done as is the book, Americanah.

Chimamanda: I spend way too much time watching KZfaq videos about women talking about their natural hair. The women here can you confirm if you're like me? Me: screaming and saying "me too!"

I love this woman so much. Would love to see ABC TV's meteorologist Brittany Bell sporting her natural hair. She's so beautiful but I wish she did something with that hair.

am listening to this video and you what? this hair thing, we allow this negative world to have us lock down into this insecure box, we give them the right, witch is in reel terms wrong, to how we should look, we are the only unique race on this planet, that in it self is a plus, so we should embrace it, there are so much things that a black women's can do to their hair, that no one else can, to get that beautiful looks, but we give up that to this commercialized world to make some people billion years over and over, so is it that they use physics on us to empower there financial quest, are it is that our looks is not acceptable in there world, witch is it? witch ever way, we should never compromise our identity in any way shape or form to anythings or any one, our maker did not make any mistake in is creation, could this be us disrespecting him???, that's something i think we all should think about

I know right? And to think it's not entirely a womenfolk affair. As a father of 2 gorgeous teenage daughters, there's no way to express the degree of internal conflict I have to most always deal with: On the one hand, you want them to look their best, hence cave in to requests for "hair money"(braids & all); one the other hand, how do impress upon them the import of keepin' it Real and natural, without coming across as mean? The struggle is tangible! :(
