@@TheRealGabo What I'm saying is that, Colour Bass is originally a sound design technique, but later on was described as a genre itself, which was mislabeled. Whatever, it's not like I'm the one who needs tell people how to label a genre lol, people can call it in anyway, I'm just speaking of it's origins.

If I had to tell someone my music taste and its history with only one song, I'd choose this. The way it slowly gets more and more distorted and glitchy as it progresses. Like a slow decent into madness or curruption. It starts out orderly and timed, simple and predicable. It has a little sound here and there but its with the beat. More sounds get added as the song loses its order. Those synths before the change are a new passion, like your growing as a person as more gets added to you. The voice joins as a calling, with a passion to change you. Hence, why the song changed. The drop is playful and jumpy, it has much less order because it's fun and cheerful. Like playing around as a new world flashes by. The breakdown before sounds quiet, like a calling or new idea, but it's a little faded and distorted getting louder as you get closer. The white noise around you, it's like going up a roller coaster. After the drop is similar to the begining, but its a little distorted and messy, yet playful. Then the obsession starts to drive you mad, it takes control of you and you lose yourself in a storm of interests. It all pauses, that madness, the corruption, how did it get here? It it all you? You remember how it all started, just wandering for a new passion. The next drop resembles the first, but its distorted and corrupted. You're going insane, but enjoying yourself as it only gets crazier. You pause to breath, thinking about how you got here, and what you have became. And whats next... TL;DR This don't even need lyrics to be my themesong.

Flowers, lemons, and electro house. These were the ingredients chosen to create the perfect beautiful butterfly. But Peacemaker Chime accidentally (kinda on purpose) added an extra ingredient to the concoction: colour bass! Thus the Bittersweet Butterflies were born! Stripped with their beautiful bitterness, the Butterflies have dedicated their lives into helping the Peacemaker find peace in the Aether, or so he thought…

Possibly my favorite thing you've ever released, the use of corruption and glitches to both tell a story and make the second drop meaningfully different is really fresh and novel.

I'm unnecessarily picky about what sub-genres songs go into in EDM and although i quickly got frustrated that there is only some Colour House in the beginning, this song is extremely creative and doesn't fit in any specific genre. TOO MANY GENRES LMAO (and i love it :P).
