CHIMPS, But an AI Chooses My Monkeys

I made an AI that picks what monkeys and upgrades I can use in a CHIMPS game. I still get to control where they are placed and their targeting, but outside of that, I'm at the mercy of CHAD (the AI).
It is programmed in Python and I used q learning to teach it some 'decent' monkey orders to pick.
I love teaching people things in Bloons TD 6! You'll see BTD6 quick tips, farming tutorials, crosspath comparisons, hero breakdowns, strategies, Easter Eggs, XP Grinds, Regrow Farm tutorials, the best things in Bloons, and much more!

I know it's generally too much of a snoozefest to talk about model mechanics, but it would be very interesting if you could say more about how the Q learning problem is set up (e.g. it seems the game progression is modelled like a grid world?), reward function design, etc. As someone who works in this space, hearing the words "epsilon greedy" in a bloons video is a nice nerd out moment :)

i like to use an app to randomize what tower i place, what upgrade and crosspath i get and when i get to upgrade it again would recommend this strategy if you're like me and are too scared to do anything that isn't hard mode on monkey meadow

To be honest, my favorite chimps strategy is bloons expertise, Icicle Impale, bloon solver and then as many extra tier 5 primaries as possible. Any hero except for obyn and striker jones does work for this but I find Sauda to be the most reliable to get you through the early game. this has worked so far on Meadows and Town Center but I'm certain it would work on all beginner maps at least and any map that lets a bunch of primary monkeys next to a village.

idea : how about let a ai generate a random monkey but you cant see the name but only the art then if your answer is final if correct you can place it but if incorrect you cant upgrade any monkey activate abilities or use powerups while beating chimps also dont worry about the upgrades you can upgrade the monkeys
