So 302 and 402 don't pop Leads. 240 and 042 doesn't pop Black properly. My 2nd game with quincy I use all cannon ships WITH CAMO and they still lose. Brickell was the key because her ability allows for all types of popping power "except camo" which is why I bought some camo. Boats are really really good for the price, but have some weaknesses for sure!

By a certain level (don’t remember), Brickell starts also granting camo popping to water towers.

You should try this again with Etienne as camo detection. I did Patch's low budget challenge with a 520 and a 250 with a village for camo detection (I did end up getting a glue gunner to slow things down too). Going mid path on the Carrier made life pretty easy, DDTs weren't too problematic with hot shots

Her level 10 ability is busted, her mines do a ton of popping, her pistol is suprisingly strong, and her level 3 ability just JACKS boats and subs. I love using her

Really? She’s one of my go-to heroes. She passively gives bonus pierce to water towers - which is REALLY noticeable on grapeshots. And her ability grants double speed and all-type popping - great for lategame DDT popping.

The thing that always bothered me about bottom path boat is that, if you read the patch notes, it's possible to tell that NK *wanted* them to have utility on CHIMPS. Trade Empire buffs the damage output of all Merchantmen on screen by +4 i think? Which, frankly, would be kind of insane if Merchantmen and Trade Empire weren't so expensive. You're paying so much for the income you can't get back! I've always figured a better idea would be to perhaps make Trade Empire similar to Sub Commander, in that it doesn't just buff all Merchantmen or higher, it buffs all boats period. You could imagine maybe it trades resources between the other boats so that they can have more powerful cannon balls or darts or grapes or plane ammo.

This is the exact reason he is so afraid of DDTs. It would've been so much easier had he gone for camo pirate ships.

@@versuzzero5335 I just tried it a few different ways, never even got close to clearing like that. I'm not convinced it's possible without either a hero or buffs. I even tried it with 0/5/2 instead of 2/5/0 and still couldn't kill all the DDT's, let alone the ceramics. But hey, if someone else pulls it off, that's cool.

Honestly, he underestimates the raw power of camo pirates. Especially the camo pirate lord, you lose popping power but the upgrade itself adds so much that it doesn't matter. Actually, if not pirate lord, just going camo hotshots is good. But it might instead lose to 98. Might.

@@RoundShades Going bottom path on pirate lord doesn't really lose that much popping power because bottom path gives huge range increase and more range is more popping power too.

You absolutely do have to click on the dudes in a specific order in order to get the achievement. I believe it’s top left to bottom right or bottom left to top right. It’s one of those two I can’t remember.

CHRIS.. you’re severely underestimating the aircraft carrier. In my experience when comparing the cannon buc to the aircraft carrier buc, the pop count on the AC Buc comes out FAR on top.💪👍

Buccaneer is my favourite tower. It does absolutely everything and does it very well!. Trade merchant ships can carry you all the way to 50+ and generates you good money.

You could use Brickell’s Naval Tactics. For DDT rushes, you could use Naval Tactics at the start of the rush, wait until it times out (by r95 it should last longer and give Camo and lead popping power to all), then keep hooking, then repeat.

I can agree with you on the apple tree picking I have 2 mango trees outside my house right now and climbing up the tree and getting the mangos feel so much better than getting mangos from the grocery story I used to do it until I almost fell off the tree 💀 and also deep dark terrified

I don't know if you knew this, but the Aircraft Carrier planes actually shoot their own anti-MOAB missiles, though idk if those would be enough against DDTs. I would've loved to see an attempt with those instead of pirates

Right now you can probably do normal hard mode with only a single buccaneer upgraded to 052 but I don’t know about after round 80 especially once the ddts are out.
