China surpasses the US to become India's largest trading partner. In fact, China and India have many shared interests. To achieve them, stable and positive relations between the two countries are essential.

India should be more weary of the west than they should with China. Both India and China has been neighbors for many millennia and there hasn't been a major conflict with the exception of a few skirmishes. Though out the the last two centuries, both India and China have suffered enormously under western colonization. Although formally colonization has been a thing of the past, that mentality still thrive strongly in many leadership of the west, especially in the US as you can see the treatment of Palestinians in the suppression and subsequent g___ of Gazans.

If India and China start getting closer, the West will try to pry them apart through false flag operations if not coup de etat. It's what the West is masterful at. So far they have been frustrated in Russia but in other places they have successful.

India should rather ask if China want those disputed land, how much do you want to pay? 100 billion usd? 500 billion usd? 5 trillion usd? If a war broke out, it costs more to both sides without any benefits whatso ever, and many lives will be lost. And most probably, China will still take the land in disputes, or even more.
@fchau6019
@fchau6019 Ай бұрын
@@merrick6484 China should not have to pay India anything for settling the land dispute, because it is entirely the fault of the British who drew the borders without Chinese participation at the time. If anything, Britain should pay, if any money has to be involved.

There is difference in thinking between Chinese and Indian. Most of Indian thinks chinese as an enemy, and Most of Chinese don't think about Indian. Indians are busy criticizing Chinese, I once have read a funny qoute- "A day without critisizing china is wasted a day in India". Indian still thinks todays china and 20 years agos china is same. Chinese are busy minding their own business, learning, earning, developing. But, for Indian critisizing china is business. Indians don't want to learn what china is doing. This impact is due to Indian Media.

You cannot be friends with Chinese, they consider themselves as the "Mandate to rule under the heavens". An ego that has been supressed many a times. They will never Give respect to India, They will never give any respect to anybody.Instead act like a Dragon to Capture Indias resources... Honestly even the West is also trying to do the same, but the West is not as Cold blooded and Focused like the Chinese, that's why all the Western Plans fail. But it is better to have a Business Partner in the West than a Chinese Business Partner. Chinese Buisness Partner will take every resources possible and put us in Traps instead Western Buisness will Go away from the country if things do not work out. Therefore if it is to choose between a dumb eagle and a Cold Blooded Dragon, it is always better to choose a Dumb Eagle.

India and China are two great Asian nations and GIANTS in Asia. Both have had such a long history of friendly relations. The best, especially the UK and Americans are cunning in their 'divide and conquer' strategy in order to keep hegemonic power India and China have been around too long to fall for this Western strategy.

China and India are competitors but at the same time they share one key common strategic interest. Both nations understand because of the size of their population, their country will be hard hitted most if there are conflicts and instabilities in the region. Once peace is assured, nothing could stop these two countries to achieve prosperity.

India need to cooperate with China to turn itself into a global manufacturing power, with seamless integration with global supply chain. It has long been China's stance that "Put the border disputes aside, let us cooperate on everything else. " An emerging power like India cannot let its development be kidnapped by border disputes. Look at Japan and S. Korea. These two East Asia neighbors can sit down for negotiations and cooperations, despite of their long time disputes over the sovereignty of the Liancourt Rocks in the sea between them. That is political wisdom and diplomatic maturity on full display. Other countries such as China and India can definitely learn from S. Korea and Japan to manage their difference on borders, LAC, or whatever, and develop their relationship for the benefit of the economy and people. The US, with its dirty "divide and conquer" tricks, doesn't want to see BRICS countries developing fast together. They'd rather see the two neighboring Asian giants fighting, hurting and weakening each other, to maintain their domination in Indo-Pacific for their own geopolitical interests.

The first thing they need to do is to set their borders on the line of control. Does anyone really think that it is possible for either party to grab a big piece of land from the other side? Of course not. What is the chance of sweet talking the other side to give up a lot for a little? Of course it is zero. Their border dispute is a total waste of time, energy, and resources on nothing.

Infrastructure issues in India will not progress much or will be done only to be found to be built by cutting corners. The BJP in my opinion is a danger for India. Not claiming any expertise on India, but what I have gathered has me looking unfavorable in the short to long term progress for India.
