Even if it's true, it won't be commercialized. There shall be limited industry who shall avail this. Reason being the economic flow. There was once a bulb that could last forever. "The bulb cartel" researched to develop bulb with limited life so that sales would increase and keep continuing. 50 years is too much to keep the cash flow alive.

Suppose this is used in satellites and rovers.. In Chandrayaan 3 there was no radioactive heating element reducing its mission life to 1 lunar day.. a miniaturised nuclear battery could extend its life to years.. India should accomodate govt and private sector R&D to develop such batteries to revolutionise energy security of India..
