Synopsis:
After witnessing the brutal slaying of her Forest Officer father at the hands of a dreaded dacoit, a woman goes to a Colonel and asks for his assistance in bringing an end to the evil rule in the Devdurg region. The Colonel agrees to assist her and summons a dozen of his fellow officers and subordinates to help.

Actually this movie was ahead of its time... Rajkumar Santoshi is the most versatile director I have ever seen in Indian Film industry and his range of making action films, comedy films, biopics is too good... Audiences were not that knowledgeable in those days and I can say that had such film released in today's day and age, it would've been a hit 👍

This comment might not go well with many but for me this film is more engaging than Sholay. Its dialogues are so on point, so realistic and practical. Once again proving why Rajkumar Santoshi is one of the best dialogue writers we have. I am proud to say that he remains most watched director for me. Ghayal, Ghatak, China Gate, Pukar, Khakee, Ajab Prem ki Ghajab Kahani all I have watched in theatre.

I had no idea about this masterpiece....since my early teenage whenever I used to turn on TV and felt like watching movies while scrolling through channels I always used to skip any channel (specially B4U) if this movie was playing bcz I thought it was a cliche flop movie but today I watched it and realised what a big fool I was all this time...I regret every moment I skipped it those years ago. Now this movie will forever be with me in my heart. And I'm lucky I got to watch such a masterpiece
