As one of the richest countries in the world, Brunei Darussalam is the world's largest oil producer. Although Brunei is a small country with a small population, its capital, Bandar Seri Begawan, does not have any fancy skyscrapers. With assistance from China, the Sultan of Brunei succeeded in building the Temburong Bridge, which is the longest bridge in Southeast Asia

Es sieht so aus, als würdige China immer großartiger in seinen Fortschritten und würde jetzt alle überholen. Allerdings sind solche Bauwerke nur möglich, wenn die Rechte Einzelner nicht geschützt werden. Bei uns würden ewige Prozesse geführt. Ob man hier auch an die Wartung und Unterhaltung der Bauwerke, also die Folgekosten denkt? Und an die Umwelt sicher nicht. Trotzdem, China überholt überall.

But a big thanks to the Chinese and South Korean, Brunei is today reunited with the Temurong or Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin Bridge.
