China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is a 3,000 km Chinese infrastructure network project in construction in Pakistan.
On 20 April 2015, Pakistan and China signed an agreement to commence work on the $46 billion agreement, which is roughly 20% of Pakistan's annual GDP, with approximately $28 billion worth of fast-tracked "Early Harvest" projects to be developed by the end of 2018.
China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is a framework of regional connectivity. CPEC will not only benefit China and Pakistan but will have positive impact on Iran, Afghanistan, Central Asian Republic, and the region.
CPEC is comprised of four major projects in total. Examples include Gwadar port, energy, special economic zones, and infrastructure development. The CPEC intends to boost Pakistan's economy, modernise the country's infrastructure, and improve communication throughout the country.
To improve the lives of people of Pakistan and China by building an economic corridor promoting bilateral connectivity, construction, explore potential bilateral investment, economic and trade, logistics and people to people contact for regional connectivity.

Pl. Tell us when it will connect by Railway track to hintor land, to Chaman, to Jacobabd, to Karachi. No port can work well without connectiion by a Rail link.

I disagree with two things. Number one Gwadar was started during Nawaz Sharif's tenure, Musharraf broke the back of this project. When Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif became the Prime Minister again, the work on the project started again, which Imran completely stopped. Now, God willing, this plan will reach completion. An obstacle to the plan was the presence of Americans in Afghanistan۔Who in any case did not want Gwadar project and CPEC Corridor

Gawadar Airport is fully completed and it's airport was scheduled to be inagurated by Chinese President in October 2023. Let me know that why the Gawadar internaional Airport is still not inaugurated.

Well narration. There r two things, one development on the part of Pakistan and other on the part of china. China built gwadar port phase one with china loan and gwadar airport with china funds. But what we did, no regular electricity and water even we saw a rain flood in gwadar, that is eye opening for our pase of development. China will do all becoz of it's needs but what we got. How we develop gwadar as a smart city with out positioning out sider on gwadar becoz after laps of two decades, still not a single one made construction at their from other area of Pakistan and why that. It is only becoz of security reason. I think security is major obstacle to develop gwadar as a major city. So security is no issue for investors.

Dr. Few years back just after Gwadar handover. I saw a short program in Chinese lang. on local Chinese channel. From Kashgar to Gwadar rail line. This is not new. Implementation is news. Also fresh fish catch in Arabian sea at evening dinner table in China - eventual high speed freight trans. Now 350 kh high speed is common. Not even that I sent a pic from moving train to Kar. and recv reply. So stable internet few years back. Imagine now. As we all know: Most fastest train from Shanghai airport to city center around 400 km. Not French TGV not Japan Sinkasen not German But might Chinese. Alas! Pk never learn any thing so. Vietnam exports 100 BIILLION to China AND 125 BILLION to USA . Entire PK budget almost.
