As a Filipino we don't want/like conflicts with china or any of our neighbors, our economy only revolves around hospitality, tourism, human resources, and with few resources. WE admit we are a poor country we don't have enough funds for our Military Defense/Security. But with china's aggression toward us, harassing's our low earning Fishermen's, claiming our Exclusive Economic Zone as their china's territory. Threatening Philippine for a severe consequences if we continue to fight back. So who's provoking a WAR?? We have no choice but to seek aid for another Tyrant.. We better take the risk in Fatal situation, than watching our PRIDE and RIGHTs being trampled..

Actually China blaming US for causing trouble in the area is not because US ships are there but because US gave the Philippines the confidence to stand up to Chinese bullying. Without the US, China thinks it would be easy for them to have the Philippines bow down to anything China wants to do in the area. That is the reason why China is saying US is endangering the Peace and stability of the area because without the US, there will be peace because no one can oppose China's actions.

No! You are wrong. It’s referred to as West Philippine Sea by Philippines because it’s west of it. Other countries refer to it as South China Sea because that is the dominant and accepted term by majority of countries. Vietnam can refer to it as East Vietnam Sea but they don’t because collectively it is widely known and accepted as South China Sea

Out of topic, this is about the collision between China and Philippine coastguard recently. China coastguard ship which was a former grey ship suffered several holes, while the Philippine coastguard ship which is made in Japan suffered no damage at all. This show how substandard those Chinese ship are.

Probably the Chinese ships that are being used for hitting Philippine ships are the disposable ships of China. If you notice there are many rusted parts compared to other ships that China use that they never use for ramming.
