China is improving its garbage classification scheme in an attempt to boost recycling and divert waste from landfills and other environmentally damaging disposal methods.
An announcement about the programme dominated news reports on June 4, 2019, with Chinese President Xi Jinping appearing on state media to offer his support for the waste management plans.

We can't deny that the chinese government really would get the job done. Without any meaningful political opposition around, they could make new laws and plans done unhindered.

Nah, there are different interest groups inside the party. The party will not let common people see the political opposition because it will undermine its legitimacy (Just look what happen to Hillary during 2016 election).

Philippine people are exceptionally kind, jolly, hardworking, and resilient, among other positive things, but they tend to be very forgiving towards corrupt politicians and they lack discipline (Boracay, Coron, Siargao, Manila Bay, Pasig River). If these among other aspects are addressed, I believe the Philippines will have a chance to prosper once again as a nation.

@@wojciechhoppe456 to be fair, these countries bought *recyclable* trash, but among those garbage sent there were also non-recyclable stuff. You know, it's somewhat difficult to sort things out. And who really want to do that?
@wojciechhoppe456
@wojciechhoppe456 5 жыл бұрын
@@qbq7414 but it's obvious that this would happen, and I doubt these countries suddenly realize that problem, they knew it for years. Then these countries could simply ban importing trash. All of kinds and let us handle our trash. But why didn't they? Why took it years for them to ban it? Don't get it. If you see your country is becoming a dump yard then these people could protest in order to force a ban. But nothing happen all these years.

I wouldn’t really bothered if they spit outside on the grass but spitting on sidewalks just unacceptable especially inside the restaurant, I don’t know about you but I get disgusted when people spit in front of my food or if I was about to enjoy my food, I’d lose my appetite if I have to witness that. I’m not trying to sound ignorant but I’m speaking the truth, I completely understand sometimes it’s hard to accept the truth and not many people have the gut to speak up.

@Chinese Cannabis Party CCP what you said doesn't make any sense. If we first recycle our trash and then send to China for profit, then you already get recycled trash and can make even more profit because you wouldn't need to recycle it and don't need to put effort into recycling it. Then there wouldn't be that problem. The problem is the trash which was send were neither recycled and some of the trash were not recyclable. That's why they couldn't do anything with the trash and it end up on dump yards. If the countries knew that, then they could react on that earlier, why took it China so many years to ban importing trash? You think the people didn't realized the stuff they get is not recyclable? Probably because these people who buyed and later on sell the trash in China get enough money so there were no need to do so. Now China is producing enough trash by themselves and don't need to import trash or couldn't take care of their own. If you people would be against that, then why the people didn't protest and force the government already 10 years ago to ban importing trash?
