Thanks Billy Liverpool is the oldest Chinese community that settled and Stayed Making it the most original My Dad Lived here for years Was our second home.. Proud Of Being A Chinese half cast And that's another Story !

We were back in Liverpool for Chinese New Year. The Bagelry is Chinese-owned - they did the New Year ceremony outside the front door. The Nook pub looked like it was closed down, and some of the other restaurants in Nelson St, but there are a lot more now in Berry Street and going down Ranelegh St. So while Nelson St isn't as busy, the Chinatown area seems to have spread out a lot more. The Chinese New Year celebrations are well worth going to see. It's a Chocca and they had loads of events on in the square and the Blackie.

Im from Ellesmere port, ive just shouted up to my two teens we are heading over the mersey for breaky thursday and making a visit to chinatown, I love Liverpool and its culture, scousers are the best, but so many plastic scousers in the port, dear meee!! I really hope your channel grows, Billy you are such a sound fella, thanks for the content :) Love from across the Mersey! "Do the right things and the right things happen" so true, Yes its true Liverpool has its problems with gangs in areas but so does everywhere else, especially within cities... scousers are sooo warm and welcoming, it is a safe city, its a beautiful city with beautiful people

I lived in Dingle for 26 years. I was never touched or approached once even when I walked the length of Mill st from after a nightclub in town at 3am My biggest fear was getting locked out by my dad who I could not wake up and even slept in the snow one night

Ohh the Nook, used to be able to get anything you needed in there. Fella would come at a certain time and serve up all sorts of exotic weeds back in the day. Sometimes there would be 20 people sitting there with a glass of lemo or coke waiting 😂😂😂

Hitler lived in Liverpool once. Not sure for how long but the house was later pulled down. Thanks for the Chinatown video, I never knew there was one in Liverpool.

I moved to green ford beside Southall from Dublin via a barring from isle of man in 89, there was a boozer called the beehive near us,it was designed to look like a medieval beehive, mental looking,we went for a jar one night and there were Indian people with scotch,manc, Belfast, Scouse accents from all over, in was gas,had a great buzz with them 💯🆒👍👍👍

@@aranisaacson9892 While I was born in England 50 years ago, my ethnicity is Indian; my parents are the immigrants who migrated from India back in 1967. Unfortunately for me I was raised in Southall since birth until I moved out at age 22, I never liked Southall, but until 20 years ago Southall had decent Indian take-away joints and a couple of decent Indian restaurants. Those early immigrants from the 60's and successive generations have moved out, and with the generation of Indians that were born in England, they became affluent and moved into professional occupations, as a result there are hardly any Indian restaurants and take-aways in Southall, majority are now owned by Pakistanis. However there are a few Indian pubs in London that serve good Indian food as well.

I only ever saw one Chinese person in Wallasey during the early 50's. He had the Chinese Laundry. I used to take my Dad's white collars there. I came to Canada during the later 50's and there was one Chinese restaurant up a side street. Didn't have any Chinese food until the 1970's. Still don't really like it. My favorite food; lamb or roast beef or fish and chips with mushy peas. I should have stayed at home but my Dad took us all on a huge ship across the Atlantic. I DID see a whale. We were the only things as far as the eye could see. A ship and a whale. Not a Chinese person in sight.
