The parade is about a holiday, not an agenda. The parade inclues all. And not singling anyone out and making everyone equal. If any group wants to make their voice/opinion to be heard, it means that group is being singled out and promoting. Making everyone equal is the opposite of being promoted. Yes. All of them are celebrating lunar new year like everyone else. Even my LGBTQ+ friends are tired of this promotion business. They just want to be like everyone else.

@@PrinceDuCiel7 Of course I understand it was celebrated by others. Korean, Vietnamese, Mongolian all celebrated the same new year because it was brought to them more than one thousands years ago. The problem is people keep saying Lunar and it is wrong. Chinese New year does not use Lunar calendar (moon). So do Korean, Vietnamese & Mongolian. We all use Lunisolar calendar (moon & sun). Islam uses lunar calendar. People keep saying lunar new year and that is incorrect. Many Asians also do not realize this is a terrible mistake.

@@PrinceDuCiel7 If you ask a Korean, Vietnamese or Mongolian they will tell you their own language for the new year. Chinese have a bigger representation in Canada so it is widely celebrated. That's why we call Chinese New Year. Or call it Lunisolar New Year to be precise.
