【Synopsis】The former clothing maker Anshi (Medina) was framed and imprisoned by her apprentice Zhuo Jinniang. When she was in danger, she entrusted the young girl Liuli (Nazha) to an old friend in the palace. Eleven years later, Liuli grew up as a medical officer, inheriting her mother's superb clothing and embroidery talents. By the time she was about to leave the palace, she fell into a crisis. Fortunately, she met Pei Xingjian(Timmy Xu), who had extraordinary ability and helped her get rid of the trap. After that in order to investigate the case of Anshi, the two planed together and experienced difficulties together, that's when they grew secret feelings for each other. When the new emperor came to the throne and clarified the unjust case, Liuli and Pei Xingjian chose to stay away from the palace and unswervingly guarded their love.

Yeap! I thought the same. This is something usual in Chinese Dramas. People that fall in love and though they are not reciprocated are still behind the person doing bad deeds in the name of "love". In my opinion, that is not loved at all because when your love is healthy and selfless, you let the other person go and be happy. Waiting for 5 yrs to free her, was an abuse of power in my opinion.

At the end of the last episode they wrote that the new emperor make her a concubine after the morning period... So they didn't show how it happening, I think it's because it would have been too awkward

What's happening with the English Subtitles for the last few episodes ever since the King dies and Wu comes back after a year. No mention this starts 5 years later. Words don't make sense like "glass", "library D" ? and the name changes What???? I hope they can fix this.

It's about time that Majesty Xie came to his senses and let Liuli and Pei have their happiness that they both should have had 5 years ago. I'm very disappointed that you didn't show Mei Niang getting taken from the temple by his Majesty Xie. You skipped so much and then show where she's back and with hair. Give me a break. It would be he would finally let them go after they saved his life and everyone else's in the palace. However, what does accept the contract mean? what does Minister mean by Pei Ming's response to his Majesty Xie? I don't understand these terms used in this drama. However, I still want to understand why Pei Ming get married again and must be alone? It doesn't make any sense to me. I do hope the next few episodes will explain this situation better and not leave us hanging.

awful English translation - get another translator, PLEASE - Watched without translation to English. Can follow by tone, expression and inflections by the actors and understood pretty much what was meant. Great actors.
