此曲巳有許多人演奏過，都係余其偉，同宋飛，兩位最好，不相伯仲，呂文成前輩當然好，不過已仙遊，音樂四大天皇之中，呂文成，何大傻，兩位作曲最好，何大傻，果支花間蝶，舆，呂文成，呢支，平湖秋月，不相伯中，平頭冠軍，漢宮秋月，雨打芭蕉，都吾錯，用正宗中樂器來演奏，不要用花巧，五架頭巳足夠，不要太多，頭架當然係，高胡，加埋揚琴，洞蕭，奏琴，椰胡，等五架頭，高中低音都有，奏出音韻柔揚嘅曲味，令人有心礦愉快嘅感覺，

把呂文成先生的作品發揮到極高境界。

與呂文成演奏錄音真的很不一樣，應該說是兩人當時心境不同，詮釋起來當然有所差異。呂版樸素、力道充足、又帶些詼諧，是典型的廣東音樂味道。宋版像是古箏或古琴般的吟猱，表現另一種廣東音樂的味道。宋版給我一種更深沉的內在感受，層次感更明顯。呂版則是帶來輕快的心情。

Miss Song is not Cantonese, but her rendition is simply out of this world. I am Cantonese and enjoys cooking different cuisines. I make a spaghetti alla Agostino with my own twist; surely it is not completely Italian but I have served it to some Italian friends before and they absolutely loved it. So please stop complaining this is not Cantonese; just enjoy her superb interpretation.

We must give great credit to the Lady-Performer of this marvelous piece of music , considered one of the musical cultural Patrimoine of the Cantonese. She mastered perfectly well with the right harmonious tune the high pitched tone she gave t o her ERHU , which is very typical to the Cantonese opera music. That is why some people find the latter's musical performance less melodiious. That is only an opinion. Cheers. Jp.

宋飞好嘢，但个头和身体不断摆动太频繁，你看“刘叶影”演奏此曲，非常动听而且淡定！大气。宋飞是名家，教人演奏身体不要下下要去摇动，但轮到她奏时，头部和身体每句乐句都要用身体言语去表示！
