Chinese President Xi Jinping accepted credentials from new ambassadors of ten countries to China on Monday in Beijing.
The new ambassadors of ten countries to China include Cape Verde's ambassador Tania Romualdo, Lithuanian ambassador Ina Marciulionyte, Slovenian ambassador, Finland's ambassador Marja Rislakki, Vietnamese ambassador Dang Minh Khoi, Brazilian ambassador Robert Jaguaribe Comes de Mattos, Sri Lankan's ambassador Karunasena Kodituwakku, Uruguayan ambassador Fernando Lugris, ambassador of Federated States of Micronesia Carlson D. Apis and Bolivian ambassador Heriberto Quispe Charca.
Xi spoke highly of the good relations with the countries, pointing out that China values the development of ties with them, and is willing to further consolidate traditional friendship, enhance mutual political trust, deepen mutual benefits and cooperation, promote cultural and educational exchanges to achieve common prosperity.
Xi also said Chinese government will provide convenience and support to the ambassadors to perform their duties, hoping them to make positive contributions to enhancing bilateral relations between China and relevant countries as well as friendship among people.
The ambassadors said China has played a positive role in international affairs this year. Their countries highly value ties with China, which is priority in their diplomatic work.
They said they felt quite honored to serve as ambassadors of their countries to China, and would make great efforts to enhance friendship and cooperation with China, deepen the understandings among people of China and their countries and achieve mutual benefits and win-win results.
