Chinese Street Food Shanghai - Chinese Street Food - Street Food China
Chinese street food and Chinese Food in China is incredibly delicious! So I flew to Shanghai, China and have been eating street food, noodles, and dumplings non-stop. Best Street Food to try! The Chinese food is so good in Shanghai! I've eaten street food in Bejing, street food in Chengdu, street food in Xi’an, street food in Guangzhou, and now, street food in Shanghai. A lot of the street food in Shanghai is similar to other street food in China. You can find some unique Shanghai street food specialties here, like xiaolongbao (soup dumplings), shengjianbao (pan fried dumplings), seafood on the street, and some delicious noodles as well. You can also enjoy countless other street foods in Shanghai, many featured in this video.

The street food in Shanghai was so delicious. The restaurant food and special Chinese cuisine was also very nice! I had some amazing Chinese sesame paste noodles that were to die for!

4) 05:20 Xinjiang style beef fried bao - 牛肉煎包 - niúròu jiān bāo - This was probably the oiliest bao I’ve ever had
Address:Xinjiang Friday weekly street food market (noted above)
Price: 2.5 RMB ($0.37)
5) 06:35 Sesame paste noodles - 麻酱面 - májiàng miàn, these were some of the best noodles I’ve ever had.

Price: 22 RMB ($3.30)
7) 10:44 Shanghai breakfast street food specialties - Chinese street food breakfast in Shanghai. We had 4 specialties.

HUGE THANKS to ExpressVPN for offering all Food Ranger viewers 3 months free and 49% off their yearly package using this link: ExpressVPN.com/Thefoodranger . Travelers need ExpressVPN to stay safe online and to unblock any site. I personally use it for Netflix, even while at home in Canada, but also while traveling to unblock content and episodes that are geoblocked, and I also use it for security, because airport wifi and hotel wifi is often very insecure, leaving my data vulnerable. By connecting to one of their servers around the world, it’s just like my computer or phone is in that location, and all data sent while connected to their VPN is secure, safe, and private from others to see, so I know that my data won’t be hacked or looked at by others. Thanks so much for watching, and we have tons more videos coming up for you! Please leave me a comment below letting me know what you thought about this episode, thanks so much!!!

Thank you so much for this video and tip about VPN. I am from India and I am going to do my first solo budget trip to Shanghai next week.I was looking for places to explore and food to eat. Do you have videos on how to get to these locations? It will be a great help for someone like me who doesn't speak Chinese. Are there food enthusiasts groups I could reach out to for help while in Shanghai?

Ive seen the worst of Chinese tourist from videos and personal experiences on the daily commute and im ashamed to say Ive judge them wrongly, this video showed me that people from the city where good morals and values does exist or thought are way way different from the people we see in videos, too many times do we forget that in the media today the bad would always take center stage from the good maybe because the bad gets more views. this video showed me the hospitality and generosity that i would never have seen if id only take what the popular media dishes out. Do you know why you didn't think of that? Have you heard of the 5 filters of social media? Portraying a communist country honestly and positively is a no-no. That's why all you see and hear are negative things about China which are on many occasions blown out of proportions intentionally to make it look ugly and inferior against western ideologies.

The "real" people of any given country usually are nice to visitors who bother to learn their language. This guy has an outgoing personality and speaks Chinese. How many westerners do you think speak Chinese? I visited a friend stationed in Germany one time. While he was working I was walking around and seeing the sites. I was offered a ride around to the nearest bridge by someone when the ferry appeared broke down on the other side of the river. My friend told me later that the Germans "didn't do that." Well, obviously they do. Don't judge a country until you meet the locals.

The jianbing ingredients are really cheap. The lamb was way more expensive. You will pay far less for fast food made from meat in the US. Some things there are much cheaper but some are way more expensive. And the "beef" bao had like, a spoon of beef, and otherwise it was just wheat flour (which is virtually free) and oil (which they will not replace as often as you would see in the West.)
