Chinese Vintage 308 Ammo Spam Can Opening

We open a sealed Spam Can of Chinese 7.62 ammo .
The tin was sealed with solder and opens by pulling on a wire handle breaking the lead seal.
The ammo is copper washed steel case common to Chinese ammo manufacturers.
We fired through a Bearcreek Arsenal side charging upper with a 22 inch barrel.
The lower receiver was made by Combat Armory ‪@safetyharborfirearms‬

Actually, the ammunition is British made at Radway Green arsenal sometime between the 1970s and present. The ammo was intended for the L1A1 SLR.

It's counterfeit, British Radway Green, L2A2 ammo made in China. China also made counterfeit US, Lake City, M1 Carbine ammo. I don't think anyone knows when & exactly why China made it. I had good luck with 90s, Chinese 308 ammo. Same copper washed steel. 🤠

My understanding is this was made for import and as such was probably 70s produced at th earliest and 90s produced at the latest however I could be wrong and there is a lot of unknowns with Chinese stuff. Great video either way
