though i animate on an ipad i’d just like to say this made me feel a lot better about how long it takes me to animate since i do a lot of extra steps to make things look nicer for almost no reason just because i like it BUT IT TAKES FOREVER and i feel obligated to upload often even though i can’t animate things to the quality i’d like to and do the other things i love while getting it done it a timely manner

I'm scared to do line art for my animations, but watching this makes me feel more confident and makes me want to actually give it a shot! There's a full animation meme that I want to pour my heart and soul into (I care about the emotion in it a lot) This was a huge pick me up for my motivation, I've been slacking off on animations and animatics too much! (I'm the type to say I'll do something or I'm currently working on it, then I don't touch it for a month or never again 🙃) Thank you so much, it means a lot to me right now!

Wow this was so detailed and helped me out a lot! Not to mention this was absolutely perfect timing, a few days ago I started a challenge to learn how to draw and animate in a month and I was confused about the animating workflow with editing. I didn't know if people used multiple software, or just did it all in adobe animate yk. So now I'll be using adobe animate to animate, after effects to edit, and premiere pro for sfx, cc, and rendering. Ohh and quick question, what software is the shading done on? Like by hand or on after effects, and is it possible to do shading and blur the shading without using hand? Or is it necessary cause I can't draw for shit and I'm trying to do this lol

Very insightful!! Adobe animate is a respectable choice! have you ever experimented with Blenders Grease pencil? It takes a bit to learn but really pays out if done well!

Question! What was the solution with fixing the pen tracking issue? I happen to be having issues the same exact problem, with the same tablet! It was working fine before, I’ve had this tablet for about two or three months with no issues But now, my pen isn’t tracking properly, just as yours was
