It wasn't abuse tho Touya was the first child of endeavor he earned his father's quirk and his mother's sensitivity to heat his fire was far stronger than endeavor's so he was trained endeavor. When he was about 8 endeavor relized that touya's own flames burn him he then refused to train touya cause his path would of been filled with blood. He then had shoto todoroki the youngest child of endeavor. (reminder touya is first fuyumi is second natsou is third and shoto is fourth) after endeavor refused to train touya, touya used to sneak out and train by himself (and burn himself in the process). when he was 13 he was burned in his flames. The todoroki's believed him to be dead he was alive he somehow survived the temperature and he left with only scars. he baught washable hair dye and became a villain.

Also, don't push yourself: it is OK to feel depressed, don't punish yourself for it. Even more! Treat yourself well!
