Thank you Daniel and the IAWC. I am a woodturner and have been thinking about embellishing some of my work with chip carving. Your recorded demonstration was exactly what I needed to move forward. I appreciate the time and effort you put into this!

Well that was an expensive video to watch. Daniel I really enjoyed this video, I have tried doing some chip carving I just did the triangle base design on a cabniet and it turned out quite nice. So I wanted to try some more. So while watching your video I bought a new knife, books, pattern iron, and few other things all good. I am looking forward to your book when it comes out as well. I would like to do some other accent carving in my furnture just looking for ideas. I also have some of the flexcut tools but I decided to go with your suggestion the Pfeil and also Beavercraft not sure if anyone has tried them they have a great review out of Kiev. I guess I should say it not that I do not want to go further into carving it more I do not have the eye that a lot of folks have. I have an issue visualizing the object before trying to do it. I need to work on that. Thanks to the International Association of Wood Carvers looks like a great group of folks. All the best to everyone.

Great video that is well worth the time. Inspired me to include a small chip carving logo on some of my carvings to be given as gifts.
