I mean it was her who realized who chip was even before Karen. And then she ran his ass over cause he wouldn't confess to killing ciji. The guy is no great loss.

I think she was upset because she'd rather see him do life in prison than die. That was too easy. Lilimae knew Chip killed Ciji and she wanted justice served. just my opinion

I thought he brought a nice change of chemistry to the mix of characters. It works to have some characters be more grounded and less larger-than-life. And Doug Sheehan was a bit of a hot commodity in the soap world after his stint on General Hospital. EDIT: Oh and he had a great head of hair
