Circuit Des Yeux joined us for an exclusive Live Session with their full touring band lineup. The band features Haley Fohr on Guitar & Vocals, Whitney Johnson on Viola, Adam Luksetich on Drums, Rob Frye on Flute & Bass Clarinet, and Matt Jencik on Bass & Organ. The session was engineered by Mike Lust of Manor Mobile Recording. Video and editing by Big Foot Media.

terrific melodies, great arrangements and what a stunning singing voice, somewhere between Nico, Diamanda Galas, Nina Simone (if she sang Scott Walker tunes slightly below her register). its quite shocking to hear a voice so hauntingly powerful arriving from a singer whose shyness and interiority reminds one of Beth Gibbons of Portishead.

This is great but the snare & rimshots in Fantasize seem to me too staccato an element it would perhaps work better with a frame drum, udu, tabla, etc percussion element, think it would be worth experimenting. Other percussion works well especially brushes in Story.
