I know there is not a guide for Moctezuma. Wondering what his use is? In a hard SoC KvK with high level barbarian forts a strong mixed troop rally is important because everyone is probably out of calvary by zone 6 and Kingsland.

@@john2g1 He's not used is why. CC is gold keys, use him and boudica and you'll be fine. Don't invest in moctezuma.

@@sukeforth7043 Boudica against a lvl 15 fort!?! Good luck with that. If you're in a high-level Kingdom fighting other high-level kingdoms zone 5 will open and there can be a lot of heavy fighting. Hospitals end up 75% full and rally troops (Cav) are dead you need to be able to fill fort rallies with all troop types while taking minimal severally wounded troops. You also have ruin fights, Kingsland, and pass openings where troops die and hospitals fill. You still need to be able to grind out high level forts and honor. Aethelflaed and Minamoto or YSG can get the job done. Problem is Mina or YSG don't provide any defensive stats and only boosts the stats of one troop type. Moctezuma is special made for SoC forts and has skills special made to survive.

best way to run canyon: set random pairs, hit random people, sleep soundly at night because you dont care about the worst game mode in rok.

Hoping you revisit this video one day since loads has changed since this was uploaded, such as ZL+YSG double aoe and Liu Constantine etc, I watch it again sometimes and it's so weird seeing our old canyon marches and how they looked before we had formations in the game 🤣🤣

Watched this twice. Probably the best canyon guide on the internet. You not only gave best strategy and pairings but also the reason behind why its the best so if someone doesnt have those commanders they can still figure out which ones they should use.

So I decided to do Guan/Const and Richard/Joan for tanks (no Trajan yet). XY/William and YSG/Mehmed for back row. Nevsky/Mina in off lane. Let's see how it does...can't wait to crush Lost Canyon in a week.

1 Question about your Guan Talent build for Canyon : Don't you mess your talents of your inf tree when you use a siege unit ?

No it does not. It's just one seige unit and it dies instantly once you are attacked. It's used to remove speed bonuses

Honestly, directly after your video upload I've tried your tips. I was playing top10 canyon in my kingdom, now i'm playing top30 lol. Harald Alex is strong but such a sponge, Guan Constantine is tanky but... I don't understand how you guys are doing. Richard Leonidas, Cm Harald, Constantine Joan, Guan Alex, Aethel YSG much much better

In my best opinion and experience with canyon is it all depends on what your top opponents are using. Players adjust to what you do. If you set up and pairs are all of a sudden start winning, top players will evolve specifically to beat you unless you are VIP 18 or heavy spender on commanders and gear. I'm currently number 1A or 1B in my kingdom and I have one guy to beat out. I'm getting close. I finally beat his main set two set ups but he readjusted this last time. My goal is to max XY and William and that will corner him for good

That’s all great if you’re maxed out in the game but I only have 1 dude that’s lvl 35. Rest are in the 20s. I can only bring in 4 at a time. What I want to know is what troops should they have? Came to find that out and left not knowing the answer. 😭
