[12:33] I'd like to point out (and mean NO disrespect), but for the Starting Zone agreements, 3 servers were told to go to Burning Lands. In the chat when I was there, it was always "We are taking 2 zones and Dragon will take 1 zone, so you all are stuck in 1 zone." The two who invaded was NK (which I think was part of server 32) and GD (Server 34 I think). Also, BD started in two zones, BDM in Sofrostia and BDO in Daralan. Obviously Burning Lands would be angry because of resources. There weren't enough resources for all 3 servers and we maximized the space [in which BD (and I wasnt interested in global enough to see if Dragon did, but they might've) stated something like "Are you tired of starving in Burning Lands, come join us"]. Betrayals also happened in Burning Lands in which 46 became a home base for GD, half of 48 went to BD, and the other half of 48 staying in Burning Lands until they also were betrayed. There's no leader of and unified 48 anymore, 46 has basically split apart, and the only victors in Burning Lands are NK and GD. Even though the drama in this season centers on BD and Dragon, the other servers have basically been crumpled and/or ruined. [Document (full letter)] BD has allowed 48 people to join them (about one alliance worth, then later in the season, two alliance worth). Also, during the Caltia War, BD has also taken a considerable amount of t5 players from 34 which prompted some complaints. I don't know the amount. Also, if the proposed agreement is sent through, that screws over Burning Land contributors such as NK and GD. They are technically not part of Dragon. I get that the previous agreement had both Blood and Dragon united, but I feel that it'd be sad that Burning Lands warriors do deserve some reward after starving in one zone for half a season.

I've seen so many kingdoms/alliances betraying others this early in the game and it's so funny to me. No one will ever ally or trust them and they're putting themselves in a disadvantage for the entire future of the game.

Thank you for this! I got zeroed after we got betrayed in lorcan, luckily most of my troops were already in my hospital from fighting. It was very disappointing to watch the situation unfold with my own eyes. Sucks to hear you had to go through so much trouble for no response. I have 0 idea of how things could change moving forward, but hopefully we continue getting fights and having fun.

putting 3 servers worth of alliance in a single zone is wild.

You keep saying "the other 3 servers' T5's..." over and over. That's funny because all players over 20M from s48 were recruited to Blood at the end of season 1 as soon as the merges were announced. The ONLY T5's in Burning Lands belonged to NV/NK and a few hardcore holdouts in s34 Glory Days (GD01). The same was true for s46. Your first mistake of the season was to stuff everyone that you didn't want to be competition for season content into one zone. It created a boiling point. Betrayal was the course of the day in BL on a regular basis. It became a petri dish and the hatred for Blood's greediness grew. For whatever reason that Dragon decided to "betray" Blood--you provided them with a multitude of willing allies by hogging the map and the game content right from the beginning. How you thought putting a splinter of Blood Haters into one zone with every other server was going to be productive for you is hilarious. Like seriously...you tried fighting a war on two fronts (even IF one was supposedly a mock war) and Atheran became your Waterloo. He who fails to understand history is doomed to repeat it. Emperor Napoleon would have warned you of the outcome.

Two things you got burned on. You assumed the diplo was still in place- you know new diplo always creates a need to align. And getting pulled into the fight in the super extended zone- bro there are some many red flags that you mentioned in your video- a nap, a guarantee of t5 support, massively over extending your lines and depleting your storehouse. Obviously you got betrayed, but there are some clear lessons for everyone on what not to do in these types of situations

I quit the game because of Dragon Family. The leadership across the whole group is terrible, you don't know anything unless you're in the top circle. Very chaotic + cryptic even for members

I was in Burning Land, and thanks for the video I finally understand what happened and why and how I ended up in Burning Land. All the agreement and betrayal aside, I wasn’t involved in any of those and was only following alliance leadership to move around the map, you said your territory is a disaster.. but have you imagined what it’s like to play in 1 zone together with 3 SERVERS + Nova? While Blood took 2 starting zones, I can’t even farm in our zone packed with players like a can of sardine. While I can’t farm, I can’t grow, and the power difference with you guys just widen day by day, I eventually quitted the game as there is nothing I can do, the zone is simply too packed. At least I hope the “betrayal” makes the game a bit more challenging and fun for you guys, otherwise it will just be FarmVille.

The diplomacy aspect of these types of games is one of my favorite aspects. The rogue players, the individuals and groups that are true totheir word, and the lies/ subterfuge that sketchy actors perpetrate. Add a geopolitical type aspect. The significance of wich cannot be over stated.

There are no permanent enemies, and no permanent friends, only permanent interests. D family's interest from the beginning is not aligning with yours. If they don't provide their side of the story or well explain this confusion, their reputation is over.

Sad that this makes me want to pick up and start playing. I miss the diplomacy talks, the drama, and the fighting. Played ROK for 4 years as a whale and king for 2 of those years. Armamements finally did me in and made me quit. Maybe ill pick up CoD...

I am currently 24m power in sss1-25 and I see players with 50+ million power with maxed out heroes/artifacts and t5 and they can just dominate the field. F2p or low spending players don’t even have a chance no matter how much time they put in because they are maybe a year behind those whales/krakens and it’s caused multiple players to quit the game and honestly I don’t even stand a chance with 3 other players with the same power against one of those t5 players it’s extremely frustrating feeling powerless against those players and I’m thinking about quitting or taking a break until something is done to help balance the game (this won’t happen because the developers make too much money off of those players to care about f2p or low spenders).

hey Chis, I totally understand all these things, these are typical drama in new kingdom with 2 big alliances. I didn’t play cod, only play rok, but I understand what people thinking. the diplomacy doesn’t always work, and many times it is just wasting of time if the other side they don’t want to. Fixing this is simple, grow your power and wipe them out entirely from the kingdom or, migrate to somewhere they share the same value with you, you must know this better than me. Unfortunately this is the most efficient way to solve these type of problem.

Honestly, I do enjoy this season 1000 times more than the last, i believe a lot BD members will agree with me on that. Not all players want to be in a situation where you fight a day or two then farm for the rest of the season. GG all, it was a great campaign.

The mistake bd did at the beging was thinking they were okay this season with DS and not attempting any sort of diplomacy with the other servers but rather seizing 2 zones for themselves and pushing everyone else into burning lands.

From my experience in ROK & COD, Chisgule comes off very nice, almost to the point of Naivety, it'd be really easy to sugar coat my words and then lead him into a backstab. Just playing devils advocate, I hope you guys just decide to drop a few racks and stomp them out

I’m in s31. Very happy with the unity and success of DX and Jedi amongst others against Bx and Nephisto.

Even though I quit RoS and CoD for financial reasons (related to a newborn entering my life :) ), I still love keeping up to date. I wish i was still in the Trenches in Blood Family!

So my thoughts are that the situation might be ok if Sean comes back but that is very unlikely. I hope that things may get talked out. Language barrier is sooo frustrating in diplomacy.

Dragon have already screwed over S34 and didn't give them any rewards after being a major contributor to fighting blood in Z3. HAHAHAHA THE IRONY

I got in a full blown argument on blood discord but this season one when we made the deal to join family this was going to happen. Then I left game when blood family started kicking alliances from family. My point was always we had tons of numbers and support in house we should focus building that. Either way love you chisgule what you do for the community is great

How about we talk about all the players and alliances Blood brought to the game, you included, and then completely discarded them unless they were massive spenders. Blood has some of the worst leadership that makes terrible spur of the moment decisions without even considering others or those that came to the game yo play with them.

Moon family(36) betrayed server 35 aswell lmao, too many betrayal on this season

had same problem with a jumper in rok kd 3053. We had Europe group with big whales and Chinese group with big whales. They were very difficult to reach out to and betrayed our agreements with no reason and portrayed to other alliances like we were the bad guys however all went well at the end as they finally agreed to join our family after fighting us which was pointless lol.

taking 2 starting zones was a joke, you literally prevented DS and DA from having a fight in the neutral zone, Forgotten Lands, as well as pushing all other alliances into an overpopulated region. "three servers are in burning lands, and they need to figure out how to be allies so they can fight blood family and dragon family" is what you said at 13:12 you know chisgule, you literally beat up several alliances in Sofrostia, and all of them had to migrate to burning lands, and those that were already in burning lands had to endure the lack of space in a region, where it was impossible to farm and develop the territory . With all these things, why do you think these alliances would try to fight the dragon family? it is logical that everyone would unite to ally with the dragon family, and in this way destroy BD, who did all this dirty work with them by taking 2 zones for you. BDO took almost all of the t5 from the other servers, the ones left remained on GD and DAB, all willing to destroy BD, you know that, and this is all a consequence of you having taken 2 early zones.

I have the impression that BD outsmarted Dragon by recruiting and postitioning itself from the beginning without violating the agreement displayed. BD intent was clearly not friendly towards DS or, at least, the results caused by its actions damaged DS. Chisgule knows what happens if whales dont fight for too long periods. I hope DS share it's point of view, because I have only access to what I had to endure in Burning Lands. The only thing that becomes clearer is that there are no saints in here.

I've seen diplo go horribly, especially when it involves diplomacy with a top alliance in a region or server. Compared to smaller alliances, many high power members in top alliances think they might be above "the law" in a sense, and will simply attack when they want, even after being warned by r4s hours earlier to stop. The comparison between the diplomacy I saw in a smaller alliance I was in and a larger alliance I was in is huge.

Reading this comment section makes me wonder how much these east asian/ South east asian alliances betray, for example in 2642 we had this vietnamese. main alliance and they honestly were so chaotic and racist. And during kvk they betrayed a ally who was helping us invade another vietnamese king in kvk, So we took opportunity and started a civil war it went well then downhill, Following our defeat we just skirmished. After LK ended they cut of our territory, But we managed to zero many of them, We eventually lost and migrated to KD 2641. But we crippled them so badly that today speaking they are struggling to maintain 6milliln total power for the main alliance😂

As a doctor who plays cod, other diplomats i encounter in the game, do not feel like responsible and normal mentally abled adults. Most of the time i feel like I’m talking to kids. I understand your frustration so much brother😂

You repeatedly say that Dragon will give nothing to their new allies, all those allies wanted was to play the game in a way they didn't get absolutely slaughtered.

Betrayal is endemic in CoD. To the extent it's the culture. Alliances also kick individuals out at the drop of a hat. As long as Fairlight doesn't lose players, there will be no change in gameplay.

Don't worry Chisgule, the AH family knows EXACTLY how you feel. You are not alone :)

Lack of communication is what caused it, if a diplomat wants war then they will be distant. And purposely muddy the waters.

Ive had this experience with some Korean kingdoms in RoK. Almost identical tbh. Some of them were great all around. Fighting diplo etc. but others hated the fact foreigners had power so much that they eventually just went rogue and burned all our cities in zone 3 while we slept. By the time we all were aware of what was going on it was too late and the people we were friends with on their side couldnt do anything but watch.

I watched the fight between BDO vs either nk or nv. I dont remember beginning of the season. Bdo couldn't keep up the pressure at caltia and burning lands border.

To the victor goes the spoils. The agreement you made was with the idea you would be winning the Z3 war. Sadly, now that you lost, the amount of dialogue shown doesn’t show that you deserve half of the rewards. It’s tough since on our server we now have to resolve the rewards and consolidate the T5 squads etc.

Gotta say their planning was epic there were able to convince you that they were bored 😂 I mean it’s messed up but their tactics worked

To sum up the season... -BD should not have taken 2 starting zones -BD has not initiated any pushes towards the East (beyond center map) and has not targeted any alliances from 34, 46, 48 that did not push towards BD first. -DS is tired of losing to BD so they accept help from NK -NK goes to Burning Lands to bully the 3 smaller servers into fighting for them or burning -DS&NK + affiliates are forced to constantly push west into BD -DS convinces affiliates that BD is the bad guys when BD defends their territory and pushes back the aggressors -DS takes rewards and their affiliates feel justified because they won so that must mean they beat the final boss -DS is the final boss

I feel like iam in sixth history class how did you not see this happening. This is a war game. You should of never gave them more then 24-48hrs with out considering it an act of war. You also gave away your territory and allowed them to strategically setup to attack

Also dragon didn't ally the whole map to beat bd. Bd alienated all the other servers and made them enemies. Of course we will ally with Ds to beat u.

This was so abundantly clear season 1 with Dragon, I am shocked that BD bought Dragon load. Our alliance stayed independent season 1 and this season as well because of Dragon. Lol, not everyone aligned with them we have survived both seasons in 32. Dragon knew what they were doing from the get go. Zero integrity. However, some BD “family” have not been forthcoming…. Sorry this happened.

TLDR of this long boring drama video. One alliance saw opportunity to fight biggest server alliance joining all other alliances in right moment. You cant really expect alliances keep their promises. I'm playing in new server and season 1 atm. A lot big spenders dont care if agreements are broken because they are spending on this game to benefit their goals and personal gains. Alliance leader have to always take into account being backstabbed even by your own members.
