For me my route took me to several kvk 2 before actually staying and progress thru commanders. There was a friendship/ agreement/ not leaving someone behind. I am with you. Nevsky, Boudica, Scipio is and forward investment strategy is amazing. I can combine them with other commanders. I have to tell you that focusing on Saladin was my mistake. I even broke a mge rule to get it and max it. It was my failure

I’m in my first KvK 4 and just invested more of my sculptures in Alex (5541 now) and plan to finish until he is expertised. I have unlocked/summoned all 3 “Mythic” commanders, but I may be doing the wrong thing by waiting a little longer to invest in them. The only reason I chose to continue investing in Alex is because I plan on migrating back to KvK 2 in the coming months. While in KvK 2&3, I will save sculptures to invest in those 3 commanders when that kingdom enters SoC.. Yay or nay?

I've been saving a lot recently. I'm trying to finish my XY (to pair with expertised Nevsky), but then will be only saving. VIP 15 really helps on saving those heads, too. I'm going to be going on a similar route as your restart: migrating back to kvk 2 and saving from there!

About to go in kvk 1 I am so excited it's my first kvk ever. I got king on my first play through I came here to see about finishing Charles.

The games has reached a state where using your gold heads feels very bad because the next wave of commanders will be so much stronger again. I saved about 1800 sculptures and I don’t want to use them because I don’t want to make a mistake. This makes the game no fun anymore

I literally did the opposite… started a year ago and just finished Kvk 2 for the second time. I have Alex, Charles, Saladin, khan, ysg, Edward and tomyris all expertised. I had a blast leading my kingdom at one point I was garrison two flags and rallying with another. For me the money was worth it. I will never get that experience again. It was nice to have the Kvk 2 meta almost finished (sans Constantine) and it’s nice knowing my account is strong enough to take a “Crystal Break” at any time

Got one for you guys. When I first started the game I was winging it, didn’t look up anything but the game was fun. Seondeok was my first legendary I unlocked. Figured legendary can’t be a bad one right? Put heads in her until I started figuring out the game and realized what a huge mistake that was🤦‍♂️😂😂 still regret it

I just plan on maxing YSG then saving all heads after that for SOC

I hope at some point there are enough meta commanders that we can have some variations in who players use.. if boudi nevsky and scipio are the best everyone will have them. It'd be nice if every fight didn't have guan alex with saladin william and xy nevsky

3rd strategy for new players : invest in Alex and ysg and after kvk season 3 go back to kvk 2 and then start saving sculps for soc

I am f2p, casual player. Started in early 2021, played for a month, stopped, picked up again a few weeks ago. Have no wheel legendaries, except Boudica Prime. I didn't even know she is that good. I just happened to have enough gems to unlock her when she was on the wheel.

After watching this video, felt hope Lilith can make a reset item for the commander so we can get the gold heads invested and XP back !!

I use Charles maxed and new scipio 5211 And get really Good trades Even with the Old scipio i got nice trades . I got Full Gold legendary eq with coin and Ring And spezial Talents

Guan in the daily is probably the BEST investment you can make in this game.

So if every commander released is gonna be much better then were gonna enter a cycle where you dont want to invest in anything cuz the next one will be much better and you'll feel like you're missing out.

20:40 I would say to use gold key commander because they saved the sculpture for soc I mean cao cao is better to have him 55/11 than trying to go for open field stats so I think bellisarius would be fine meanwhile you get another good legendary from wheel El cid or thutmose,with boudica I think,definitely thutmose(more stats,bonus dmg,decent museum buff) Well even mehmed 2 would be lit but you get less sculptures overall Scipio…mehmed,or sun tzu probably it’s better than Charles Martel

He's right. You can't invest in every commander in this game. You have to invest in a commander that has longer relevancy and versatility in this game.

As long as they dont make a ysg 2.0 or god-chainer 2.0, its always going to be ysg expertised first then thats when ill start to hoard universal gh.

When I look at my boudica in the commanders list it says integration not archer. Am I missing something?

I just need to point out that only invest in 1 of the 3 mythicals along with a pair with him and then maybe maybe later later very very later if you want to have a cav or inf or archer march too then invest in a 2nd one

I started the game a year ago in 1001. May 7th 2021. Quit and returned at January 21st 2022. I dont remember much from the past. Its either new commanders or i just had bad luck at getting those commanders. My first legendary at that time i think was julius caesar or æthelflæd. I didnt have seondeok, ishida, boudica or any other commander, I thought they were new. I didnt really focus on the talents of those commanders... i had someone help me understand the game and which commanders to invest on, though he didn't tell me enough back then 😅 so I invested on ishida once i got him thinking he was useful somehow. He wasn't. So now im just a slow grower also not being an f2p. I spend alot of money somehow im still at 8M power but 10M kp's. So its either im being dumb or im more of a fighter than farmer or grower, but i do have a 5211 saladin and a 1221 ysg, two expertised epic comms (beli, scipio). 240k t4 cavs (I main cavs) with decent equipment. Still trying to forge my first legendary, its archer so i'll try using it on YSG for that. Thank you for listening to my essay 🤣

Hi noob question hope you can answer, after kvk3 can you access the new Prime commanders immediately? cause some guides says kingdom needs to be almost 1k days old to access those from wheel of fortune. Does this mean i should migrate to older kingdom as soon as i enter soc?

Man i wish I saw this video a year ago, I made every single noob mistake there is. I recently migrated back to a kvk2 kingdom and boy am I sorry I didnt at least invest in buying scippy and boudica prime... I could have been working on them from now till the next soc. Now Im stuck with prepping guan yu and Cyrus for the coming SOC.

I didn't plan to do Boudica as I have literally only 2 legendary archer commanders which are Nebu/YSG. Does it really make sense to spend 700 gold heads to replace Nebu? 🤔 And does the strategy to not invest backwards apply to Guan as well? Cause he's the one I think about maxing next.

Ins't there another thing to contemplate here? If you invest heavily in something early on, you will win early on. If you win early on, you will dominate and grow a lot quicker.

1 equipment set for each troop type, pick boudica scipio and nevsky for those troop types, i can only focus one tho.

I have just started in rok and I am thinking about investing in minamoto. Is it worth it ? I have just started my first kvk 2 I am a cavalry main and I feel like I need an expertise legendary to be able to do something. Is minamoto worth in the long run ?

I still think ysg and Alex are worth the investment for a beginner account. Having them will allow you to get more sculptures over time, in kvk1-3 so they pay for themselves.

Great video. Everything said makes sense, but it’s not very realistic imo. Not everyone gets to soc with t5 and a bunch of expertised commanders, and field fighting is a nightmare when you don’t have max normal tech, you suffer heavy losses not even getting directly hit, and the only way of being effective is having a few skill cicles with hi power commanders which is something that a lot of time doesn’t happen. I think that “old” commanders like Alex and harald are the best way to go for players in this situation to get some kills, or cav marches like xy that has huge damage with little rage requirements and move fast.

Yeah I’m kinda a noob too. I’m not a dolphin but not a whale. Like a dolphin. I finally decided to go infantry during kvk 2 when I was able to max my Alex. I bought Mina for rallying forts before kvk 1. Anyway, I invested like 95 gold heads into martel because he was only 5311. I ended up getting him to 5513 out of luck, not hitting his 3rd skill
