What blows my mind is that he was productive and efficient during all those 15 hours of daily study. Anyone can study 15 hours a day but only few people can do it efficiently. He wasn't born extraordinary, he cultivated 'deep work'. Deep work is a state of distraction-free concentration that is hard to replicate. It is rare to find people with long attention spans in the modern world. I suggest you give 'Deep Work' by Cal Newport a read. Anybody can become a topper. Sadly, I realized this a bit late but I can still inhibit this concept for the future.

Its good that he has secured AIR-1 and has worked really hard but when such toppers get a chance to express their experience to the world, the say a lot than what he has really gone through so that the world this that he is really extraordinary. In this case Chitrang has claimed to have studied 15 hours a day and not at all sleeping properly and all that. But thats practically impossible as its a preparation for 2 whole years. Please don't bring fear in the minds of the students.

Sometimes getting a job is necessity. Most of the students who prepare for jee come from middle class family. They have to secure a good job. It's necessity. It's very easy to say follow your passion enjoy research etc etc but when you realise you have a big responsibility to earn money all this idea goes into vain.

Haa bhai.. mene unacademy join kar rakha hai..yaha most of students 13.5 hours(4.5×3) hi padhte hai.. mujhe kese pata?? Kyuki bache time table share karte hai teacher ke sath.
