the immortal rituporno-deeply shocked by the sudden death of my fav.director ritu da,his films gave new dimensions to the film industry,movies like"bariwali,antarmahal,chokher bali,aarkti prem er golpo,chitrangada" moved me to the core,i may not know him personally,but i was emotionally personal with his movies....his works are immortal like him,rituporno cannot die,his is alive and will stay alive..for eternity..

He is a jewel of bengali film industry bringing back all the lost glory of bengali film industry, bringing international recognition to bengali cinema. It is films of dev, and films like paglu,challenge, and other staff that are holding back bengali film industry to its doom.

This is an awesome movie, the topic is bold (although I believe homosexuality is very normal) and above all- its not that simple to put the entire thing in the form of a movie. But this is Rituparno Ghosh- a legend ! Whenever I watch his movies, apart from so many other great aspects, I always like the way he used the music and back ground songs in his movies. He left us before his time. He contributed a lot to the modern day Bengali movies, though had a lot more to give.

none of those masters were homosexual. If you think about Ritu parno carefully, you will see the life he leads is probably beyond your imagination. The unfathomable pain injected in his life is not provisional, but for his entire life. He is not even a gay like sexy ricky martin, but almost like a hermaphrodite. His conviction, trial and tribulation--you will not understand, atleast you will not try to. The character absorbs the emotion from his personal life, that only he can portrait.

its seriously great!! considering Bollywood which is the ultimate movie destination,but am seriously glad that this industry is having movies of all genre!! regardless of how pathetic and superficial and fake the commercial movies are!! Rituparna Ghosh is an excellent filmmaker and have always brought new creativity channeling through our very own heritage , which is raw and extraordinary!!!!

With the difference of culture taste and entertainment quotients vary from class to class. in very society there exists group of uncultured lumpen elements. that doesn't mean the whole society will follow them or will be ruled by them. Film is an art, and art requires certain level of intelligence and aesthetics. A commercially successful film can also be intelligent and have aesthetics, eg. Bhooter Bhabishyat, Autograph, 22 a Shrabon. But there are some films which are made by illiterate.

How pathetic. The type of films that turn into blockbusters in India are the worst films in the world! MINDLESS entertainment for the illiterate population. You find such intelligent films boring because you can't understand them. Because such films require the audience to follow a story that attempts to show something different....Films aren't just meant to cater to idiots, it's also an artform for people who have an attention span and appreciate STORYTELLING, acting, poetry, etc etc....

We hav seen such gud films frm directors lyk Raj Chakraborthy,Rajib Biswas,Sujit Mondol,Shankar Aiyya.2 name a few lyk Chirodini Tumi Je Amar,Prem Amar,Amanush,Wanted,Paglu,Romeo,Bolo Na Tumi Amar,Shatru,Khokababu,Challenge,100%Love,Le Halua Le,Phande Poriya Boga Kande Re,Janeman,Awara.But, dese directors lyk Rituparno,Srijit,Suman had never ever made a good "paisa vasool" film in their lyf. Strange !!!

You didn't find these movies great it's the problem of your own mind because people like you can't think movies without action, silly love stories, nake kanna and nyakamis. So these type great art films are not made for you. These movies need a matured mind to be understood which you don't have. So be pleased with your shit movies like Paaglu, Awara, Prem amar etc etc. 😊
