The Chloé Betty boots caught my eye last fall but with will and restraint I held off from making the purchase. I wanted to see if they would still be around into the next season and wasn't in the market yet for a boot of this kind. With fall 2022 on our doorstep the Betty boots were still top of mind! After seeing the taupe colour of the Chloé Betty boot in the SSENSE sale I decided I was in a position to give these a go in my wardrobe.

Chloé Betty Boot Details:
The PVC Betty rain boot reveals a sleek, strong upper recalling classic leather boots and incorporating the Maison’s signature contours.
The voluntarily oversized back loop shows the Chloé logo, while an internal zip closure ensures a fitted, feminine silhouette. Short and flat, the square toe shape lends a strong, assertive attitude. The comfortable heel elevates the silhouette, while the bold lugged sole gives an edgy attitude to this Wellington boot.

Hey Amanda! 2 suggestions from me having worn these for a whole fall / spring season! 1. I definitely agree to size up. Not only for the reasons you mentioned, but mostly for comfort! I tended to feel quite a bit of rubbing when walking long distances (around the toes) so the thick rocks would come in handy. 2. If you wear these under pants or with dresses, make sure to wear nylons or long socks that pass the top of the boot! I wore short socks when wearing these boots under pants and let me tell you, I still have scars! The top of the boot rubs against the chins when walking long distances. The main thing to keep in mind is these don’t wear like leather boots, rubbing will happen on the skin, and they will get steamy! But they are still so worth it 😍 No regrets

I bought these a while back and I can't wear them for more than 30 minutes at a time 🤣 they are definitely going to give me hammer toe... They are extremely narrow and I by no means have wide feet😢 they cramp me up so hard. I originally bought the 7 because I am a size 7 in every shoe or boot ive ever bought. I ended up exchanging for a size 8 and still no luck. They are beautiful though!

Are these comfortable while walking a lot?

I'd say they are good for short to medium distances. If you were to walk very far they wouldn't be ideal due to the weight and flexibility. But I am still pleased to have them for that in between 🥰
