Thank you for sharing your heart Priscilla. I’ve had physical challenges this year and lots of pain from a spinal fusion followed by breast cancer. But God makes my trials a blessing when I thank Him for them and ask Him to teach me through them. I switched to an organic mostly vegan diet for the cancer and I’m feeling better than I have in 30 to 40 years which is such a blessing. My functional MD started me on low-dose naltrexone to prevent cancer but it also took away my lingering back pain. I never thought I would be pain-free until I got to heaven so this is a huge blessing to me. Praying for you and Joas and the family as you go through this very special exercise with his broken heels. I admire your attitude. Praying for healing! God bless you!!

Sunday is our Harvest Luncheon after church. I'm in charge and cook two turkeys and others bring dish to pass. I've also made a apple pie and a scratch pumpkin, from pie pumpkins that I cooked down and froze two cups for each pie. I found the recipe in an old cook book that I collect. I enjoy cooking foods the way great grandparents cooked.

He has more time for the Lord & for his family. So glad your hubby is doing better GODBLESS. My little sister was walking her 2 dogs and got tangled in the leashes well it took her down broke BOTH of her wrists . Poor gal . Sh had surgery on them both . She’s getting better Slowly. You just never know … love you all prayers sent to you all .

Thank you for your message at the end. I too am a Christian but very far away in South Africa. I lost my job in 2022 and in 2019 and 2020 had cancer. I often wonder why did God let bad things happen to me. I was even robbed at gunpoint on my holiday! Throughout it all, God provided a new job, took me through cancer treatment and I am clear. During the robbery I prayed for protection for myself and others and God again came through. The thieves stole my Bible lol! I came to your channel via an interest in the Amish. However, I love the snow and the Alaska landscape. Long ago I went to America as a child and teen and have always liked America. I think your channel is nice with recipes, stories and showing how you decorate at Christmas. But the message lol it was for me! (And I am sure a lot of other people too). God has always come through even when things are tough. God is good. ❤

Thank you for this positive post. There is so much fear and despair in the world today. I’ve spent the last year and a half in cancer treatment and while I never would have chosen this path it has changed me for the better.
