I have a restaurant recommendation for you in K-Town! Also known as Koreatown, the neighborhood is a close walk from Herald Square. It’s the perfect spot to get a delicious, authentic meal in the area whether you’re a tourist visiting Herald Square or a local.
Cho Dang Gol makes their own homemade tofu. The menu is available online and has nice pictures clearly depicting each dish. The prices range from $12 to $50 per dish.
Featured Dishes: The pork dumplings are handcrafted, the cod roe omelet is one of the most unique dishes I’ve ever seen, japchae is a popular Korean dish made with stir-fried glass noodles with marinated beef, bulgogi is made with thinly sliced marinated beef sirloin, and finally, if you’re searching for a spicy dish, consider the spicy budae hot pot with kimchi, ramen noodles, and assorted meats and vegetables!
